Very authentic delicious Mexican restaurant. If you crave good mole or Al pastor or tamales all were very excellent and good. My taste buds were very satisfied with the flavors. The chips are nice the only thing that was so so was the chip salsa. Tamales de mole very moist and delicious. They have the jarritos, yummy orchata, mexican soda or bottled water. We left happy and fed and will probably come back if in the area again. Eating area is small so if close order to go if want to enjoy it at home.

Amazing food, I always on the road all around New Jersey, and I always found my self coming here, they have the best tortas al pastor. Today trying for the first time the burrito al pastor again delicious, by the rise being on the side make it easier to eat and you get more of the good stuff the pastor meat inside the burrito . Great place

Food is good. I got vieggie quesadilla, and a Chimichanga. My wife got Chicken Fajita. Not a good place to dine in. Does not look clean. I recommend doing take out. I gave 4 stars just for the taste of food.

Wonderful place for Oaxacan cuisine! We have enjoyed 4 meals at Los Papagallos, and have never been disappointed. Everything is very fresh with an extensive menu and attentive service. Potions are large, and all dishes are prepared in the adjacent kitchen, so you can watch the whole process from your table. The only reason for taking away one star is that the ambiance is a bit limited compared to some other places. But I tend to find that the fancier places tend to be overpriced, or seem to put less time and energy into the food. Overall this is a wonderful place, and you could always do takeout if you prefer to eat at home. A real treasure right near the overpriced and much less authentic Pier Village. Try it out!!!

It may look rough from the outside or the inside. But once you get their food from the outside to YOUR insides; you’ll understand how this long running, family run traditional corner store mexican shop has been feeding those in the know for the last 25years. I would suggest a simple plate of their Al Pastor Tacos, add Avacado and Cheese. Get a large homemade Tamarind drink and call it a day.

This place is as authentic as they get. Food is delicious and the prices are great. I would recommend to do take out during the summer because i don’t think they have AC. And make sure you try their barbacoa, it’s delicious. Their tortillas are handmade, that’s always a plus!
