Food was pretty good. I’m from San Antonio/Austin and am always in search of Mexican food that reminds me of home. This fit the bill. However, I could barely hear my lunch companion sitting across from me over the obnoxiously loud music. After reading other reviews, I see that other reviewers have had the same experience. I’m surprised they haven’t figured out that people don’t want to have to yell at each other to be heard. I don’t think I’ll be going back. The volume made it very uncomfortable to be there. I would be more understanding if it was a bar and was later at night. We were there for lunch. 🙁

Food was good, but the service was just unacceptable! Waited 15-20 minutes for our food. After being ignored for another 15 minutes after we were finished, we requested our bill and a to-go box. She didn’t bring me a box, nor our bill. She served the table next to us and continued to ignore us. Then she left into the back and never came back out. We had to cash out at the bar and big shocker…… She received NO tip

I’m not from the area, but every time we stop by Reno we like to eat here. NEVER AGAIN! first of all music was to loud and a bunch of guys drinking, seemed more like a Cantina! I order a michelada with 2 shrimp to go with my fried fish. Just unbelievable when she came with the drink without the shrimp and told me they were being prepared, which was a disappointment . 10 min later she brought the food to the table and my shrimp were still on the grill according to her! Telling me that it took time to cooked them! ! I was like 2 fried fish, a menudo and a burrito took them 10 min to prepared but 2 freaking small shrimp takes half an hr?? We had to ask for almost everything including tortillas, the service was terrible, the young lady had a rude attitude …NOT STOPING HERE NEVER AGAIN

This place is close to our home hotel GSR and is wonderful for a quick and homemade Mexican meal. They offer so many classic options and are friendly and down to earth. My wife is fluent in Spanish and I am trying and love to practice whenever we come. Take a moment and have a great lunch with a cold cerveza. You can’t really go wrong with the menu order something familiar and be impressed

Food is delicious! The young lady providing service we spoke to when she took our order and delivered it. No refills on water offered I needed butter, limes and cilantro to compliment my food but she never came my way.
