We love this restaurant! The whole team makes us always feel special and the food is outstanding! Make sure you try their margaritas and their table side guacamole.

Los Tres Magueyes is a Mexican restaurant with convenient indoor and outdoor tables. First, the service is excellent, the waiters are fast and available to solve the questions. The food is delectable, at the beginning they bring to you fresh and crunchy nachos with salsa. We asked for “Fajitas a la Costa” (Shrimp with bell peppers, onions and tomatoes served with guacamole salad, tortillas and refried beans) and Enchiladas Suizas (Three chicken enchiladas smothered with green salsa served with Spanish rice, guacamole and sour cream salad). Both preparations were delicious, hearty, well served. The price is really convenient. I will come back.

My husband and I for some reason decided to try 7 Mexican restaurants in 7 days because we were determined to find the best entrees and burritos (not tacos/chimichangas/enchiladas.. we’ll save that for another time). He tried a chipotle chicken dish here and raved about it. Let me tell you – this man does not like talking while eating… or even sharing. However, he went on about how delicious it was and even insisted I have a bite. When the food was gone, he used the chips to scoop all of the sauce up. I was basic and went with a burrito… I got the Burrito Tejana and it was the best burrito I’ve ever had in my life. Of note, my husband said the same about the burrito from their Los Tres Magueyers Brier Creek location. The service was good, although we had a different server for everything (one took our order, one brought the food, one did refills, and one brought the check) so it was confusing who to ask for refills. My only negative is the seating. The booths are really weak, so whoever is sitting behind you on the connected seat determines your whole experience. When we got there, it was a tall man behind me who kept pushing back, and therefore pushing me into the table. By the time we left, another tall man entered the booth, but kept shaking the seating – needless to say I kept getting pushed and shoved around haha. Honestly though, best authentic Mexican food in RTP (compared with Jose & Sons, El Rodeo, Chuy’s, Gonza’s, La Santa, and MezCalito) and will 1000% be back.

Food and atmosphere always spot on. As a Monday evening dine-in, with few customers, I was very surprised that I had to retrieve someone to take my initial order, with workers congregating near the front entrace/bar area. After that, periodic return visits to the table were made to assure our satisfaction of food and service. Did not recognize the usual staff at this regularly visited establishment. Under new management ???

Ordered food for the first time and I’m extremely disappointed! The food was cold and extremely poor quality Quesadilla.

Located in a shopping center so parking was easy. Clean and Friendly dining with quick fast service. Prices are very reasonable to include cold beer if desired. Menu was diverse with all the typical favorite Mexican dishes. I would go back and recommend. Enjoy )

Come here more times then I can count and the experience is great every time. We usually had 6-8 people and they do a great job accommodating. Reasonably priced and nothing crazy but the food and service is consistently good.

If you come in here as a single diner you’ll get looked at like, “what do you want, why are you here?” Once you get over that less than warm welcome hopefully the wait staff will be a step up, but not always.

I am beyond disgusted with this restaurant. My husband has Wet Brain/alcohol induced dementia. I have explained this to this restaurant several times. But I guess getting money from a alcoholic and risking that he could cause an accident and harm someone or himself does not matter. Just a couple of days ago the ambulance had to take him to the ER after the bartender Marvin continuously served him alcohol. How does a restaurant say to me “yes he drinks a lot in here” and continue to serve him alcohol. Shame on you!!!! Consistent money from an alcoholic and risking lives is more important to this restaurant.

somewhat slow service and there was no one to receive us for several minutes when we walked in. i wish the environment was less noisy (sound of the kitchen). they had gotten my order wrong, however, the food is good.
