Delicious! Came here with my family, had the rice bowl with beef and onion: excellent. Family also very much enjoyed the rice with tofu and the crispy spring rolls. The Vietnamese iced coffee was also very good. Very friendly staff and great interior design too. Also admire the miniature acorn models and plants.

Lotus Pepper has been serving truly excellent banh mi and other dishes for a decade on the truck, and all of that tastiness has continued at the new shop, along with a lovely front-of-house in an excellent location. They’ve always taken great care of vegans, and now have even more options. You will love this place, if you love flavor and freshness from a true multi-generational family business run by some of the kindest people in town.

The owner is super chill and the food is authentic and great. Love the grilled lemongrass chicken with rice. My friend had the fresh lime soda and she said it “exceeded expectations!”. She liked it “very much”, so that’s a great sign.

We were the first in on day 1. Had the vermicelli bowl and tofu banh mi. Everything was fresh and delicious, and the owners are so gracious. What a treat! I’m so excited to have this wonderful restaurant right on Hope! We’re likely to become regulars.

Really impressed with the food and the beautiful update they did to the building. I had the tofu Bahn mi, the tofu was genuinely incredible, great preparation. Good value, nice seating, indoors and outdoors. Impressive all around.
