Very friendly atmosphere…local piece of history for Alexandria. Broasted Chicken is amazing. crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Shout out to Alexa ! Thanks for the fast and friendly service! Dad and I ate two, 2 piece white Broasted Chicken baskets with 2 drinks. $26.80. Worth it.

Called and asked about the menu. It was obvious they could care less. After asking the same question three times I gave up. The question? Do you have a roast beef poboy.

Came in from the Northern part of the State. Saw the sign and thought I’d stop and give it a try. Placed my to go order, sat down and seems like I was forgotten about. Orders going out throughout the building, and I sat for what felt like a solid hour for a fried po-boy meal. Who I presume to be the owner only greeted local customers, walked around handing out samples and checking on them. Not once was I acknowledged by her, only to be asked by the waiter to move from where I was seated to somewhere else so that they can give the table to a “table of 5” which was combined with another for 4 people. I’ll just go somewhere else if that’s how new customers are welcomed. **update** the fries were cold with no salt, the shrimp po-boy was warm (about to be cold) and had no flavor at all. $15 for cold food, and a long wait. The cashier was nice though.

VERY CLEAN, nice atmosphere, wonderful staff! Food was great, and not a bad price! The only catch is their lunch crowd, it’s big!

Broasted chicken is good and sweet tea is delicious! Chicken wings and shrimp poboy are also good.

Sad shrimp poboy. My poboy had a total of two, not three or four, but only two pre-fried frozen smashed shrimp (think frozen grocery store brand shrimp) on it. There were no pickles, and it was on a 6ish-inch bun, not New Orleans style french bread. Was not good, sorry. The lady there was so nice, and the place was clean as it could be, but the sandwich was the saddest excuse of a poboy there ever was. Go next door and pay a little more for a poboy express. It is way better. I wanted to like this place so badly.

Amazing food! They had the best hamburger I’ve had at a food joint in a long time. The frosted mug was fantastic as well. The service was great and the people were kind. Amazing experience! I would definitely recommend going!
