We came around 9:30am and ordered the pain au chocolate and a croissant. Quiches are ready after 10:30am, so we waited for that. Everything was worth it. The bread along with the quiche is just like what my wife and I have tried during our travels in Europe.

I have to admit, the line was very intimidating but once you had a bite from their croissant then you will forget all the time you spend in the line cause you’ll automatically think what to get the next time around cause it’s just “heavenly” delicious!

The wish I had would be a larger location and dining spot, but that would take away from the Parisian experience. Else, it’s a charming, quality experience worthy of your tyme.

I made it to Lou Bakery on a weekday morning right when it opened, there was already several people in the line so I waited for like fifteen minutes.

I’m totally beating myself up for living 10 min away for the past 3 years and never been to this place. Waited for 30 min at 11:30am on Sunday. Ordered plain and chocolate croissant. Coming back for almond next

Been waiting on line since 7:45. It’s now 8:15 and two people cut the line in front of me cause their friends were there. Insane, given the fact that we all had to wait just for someone to do that. I will not be coming back. For a business that is so busy it is ridiculous that they don’t have a “no cuts” policy. Taking my business elsewhere.

Lou the French on the Block is hands down one of the best French pastry places probably in Southern California. Always expect the same quality, always expect the same grade of flavor and always expect to get a small taste of France.

Oh my god this place is so mouthwatering how do more people not know about it but keep it that way since they are only open weekend mornings UNTIL THEY SELL OUT. I die for the chocolate cream puff. My husband lives for the eclair. You can’t go wrong with anything you get.

You could also order ahead of time 48 hours and pick it up. Definitely recommend. They also have baguettes and try them yet but they look delicious
