Louie G’s Famous Roast Beef was a 10/10 Although we started to have our doubts when this highly-rated sandwich shop took us on several back roads seemingly nowhere near Philly, these fully loaded sandwiches on Atlantic City rolls held their own. We got the Cheesesteak and a Roasted Pork with roasted red peppers and broccoli rabe, and while they were completely different flavor profiles, they were both a home run. The french fries were well-done potato chunks, perfectly seasoned. This family run business has navigated the challenges of post-pandemic restauranteuring by simplifying their menu and doing everything with excellence. If you are headed up or down I-95, definitely stop in for a five-star experience.

WOW! Finally a place that STACKS their sandwiches! The Roast Beef was super tasty and cut thin so the bite is mega juicy. Same thing with the Roast Pork, juicy and great flavor. The bread is unlike anything we’ve had before, consistency was full-bodied throughout. Next time I’ll ask to toast the bread a bit for sure to get a crunch in there. The large chunky potato fries were good, however some of the middle was a bit undercooked. Looking forward to trying their cheesesteaks next: 4/5

I just got done eating what was probably the best cheesesteak of my life. This place knows what it takes, and is clearly the local fixture people know and love. Though I was from out of state, the owner gretred just about everyone else by name as they walked in.

Once I heard this place had AC rolls I had to stop in. So glad I did. Friendly staff and a clean environment. And the roast pork with broccoli rabe was top notch. They were out of roasted peppers. No biggie, I’ll get em next time. Best sandwich that I’ve had in the area. This place will definitely save me a trip to White House in AC. Trying the Italian next time. Give them a try.

What a great little find! Came across this sandwich place while googling restaurants in area…and with over 100 reviews it has FIVE stars (4.8 rating)! So I gave it a try and could be happier. Couldn’t get the roast beef hoagie I was hoping for because it was still in the oven…YUM! Which tells me it would have been nice and fresh and delicious! But got the Turkey and cheese. Delicious and the bread was SO fresh. Having friends over this week and going back to get roast beef and cheese to serve hot roast beef sandwiches. The fries are more like potato wedges, and were excellent! And the owner’s daughter, who works there, is as sweet and friendly as can be! Give this little family owned sandwich shop a try…you won’t be disappointed!

Really, really good food! The folks that run this place are top notch! We stopped in for the first time and ordered a couple of the pork sandwiches and Lou Sr. Chatted with us and made us feel right at home. Then he gave us a couple of home-made meatballs to nibble while we were waiting, who does that? Oh, and the meatballs are awesome! We will definitely be back

The food was wonderful. I had a desire for some good fries and these certainly hit the spot (though I would call them wedges not fries). The Buffalo cheesesteak was great; perfect actually. I would certainly eat here again.

Great South Jersey sandwich place. People are super nice too. Even when their phone is ringing off the hook and you know they’re swamped, you never get an attitude. They deserve the business and support unlike some other places. Being from North Jersey originally, I’ve found that a lot of places down here that are highly rated (pizza, diners, etc) are actually lousy. Definitely not the case with Louie G’s!

Really enjoyed the food! Went with the hot roast beef and fries. Gianna took my order and she was very helpful and nice. Everyone said hi when I walked in. Roast beef is flavorful and super tender. Roll is top quality. Fries are cooked in peanut oil and have great taste. Might ask for them to be “well done” next time so they’re a bit crunchier but I like them. Will definitely go again!!
