I used to go to Louie’s in the late 80’s, but I never realized they served food, my friends and I just went for drinks, lol.

Louie’s has been in Dallas for decades! I always try and find spots in Dallas that have been around a while and try them. It was packed 20 minutes after opening, so get there early. The pizza was wonderful, cut into squares. I loved the atmosphere of the whole place, definitely want to go back again!

My dad came here in the 80s and loved it so we decided to try it out again. Pizza was great and salad pretty good but I would never come here again purely based on the service. Every single person we encountered here was extremely rude and acted as if we were bothering them simply by existing. When we ordered, the server asked us if that would be enough food for all of us. Never had such poor service at a restaurant and not worth the experience for average food. Would give 0 stars if possible

Love the food and vibes here, which makes me sad to finally throw in the towel and stop coming. I simply have no interest in dealing with the extremely unpleasant staff. Seems they think they’ve earned the right to treat people horribly and folks will keep coming back. The hostess was the easily the most rude and inhospitable restaurant staff member I’ve ever dealt with in my life. The food and vibes ain’t worth that. I can spend my money elsewhere at a place that actually seems grateful for my business

I love the pizza and martinis here, but it’s at the point where it isn’t worth it to deal with the staff. Usually I can handle the rudeness, but after a long week I just left after 4 minutes because not one, not two, but three staff members were rude. The older male bartender needs to quit if he hates his job that much. Unreal honestly.

We saw Louie’s on Diners, Drive-ins & Dives. We have family from Waukegan, IL so we had to try it out. I had a pizza & my husband had the meatball sandwich. We were not disappointed. The meatball sandwich had great flavor. The Meatballs were not dry. The sauce & cheese combination was really well done. I had a hamburger, onion & bacon pizza on their thin crust. It was absolutely killer. They know how to make a pizza. The crust was thin, flaky & done just right. The sauce was unlike a pizza sauce I’ve had before. It was a mild tomato flavor & not overpowering in the slightest. Absolutely recommend their food. My only criticism is they could use more parking.

Everyone stay away! It’s bad no good! I want it all to myself. With the new hours it’s so busy even at the time they open. I am from Chicago and it’s the best ever and don’t leave without the Cesar salad. It to is remarkable. All the other places are just fad overpriced pizzas. Here is a clue. Watch the other tables and when you see them leave piles of crust on their plates it shows nothing but unflavored bread dough.

Went here with a friend who was visiting DFW area. He saw that Triple D visited back in 2009 so wanted to check it out. Pizza was decent, comes out HOT! 2/3 of us burned the upper part of our mouths with the first bite. Some cool nostalgic pics, place is small, parking is insufficient, service was ok, bar was packed!

In my humble opinion, this is the best spot for pizza and a dirty martini! Service is always awesome and super friendly. We always keep it simple with sausage, peppers, and onions on the pizza, and the thin crust is magic.

Currently, they Are pick up ONLY. Placed an order and hung out at a local bar waiting for the meal (which was fine).
