Patience is definitely a virtue up here! Cash only, called my order in but still had to wait 45 mins for food. But when I tell you it was worth the wait??! It was definitely worth the wait! My catfish tails and fries were so fresh and fried hard like I requested. The young lady was so sweet! I was worried at first when I called but I had to understand that she was busy, but when I arrived she was sweet as can be with an unforgettable smile. Will definitely be back in a few days!

Only 2nd time eating at this location and now I remember why. The chicken isn’t as seasoned as in the other locations where I usually visit, but they are closed on Sunday. If you’re used to this location then it’s probably ok for you, but like I previously stated, I’m used to a different location where the chicken is more flavorful and crisper. I will remember this and not order from there again. The fries were seasoned very well. This location is just not my vibe!

My friend recommended this place.I placed an order for fish and chicken. This was the worst chicken and fish I have ever tasted in my life, on this earth!!! The fish and chicken was very dark,burnt and had an old grease taste. I took one bite of each, became very nauseous!!! I wouldn’t feed that mess to a dead dog!!! It has been awhile since my friend had went and and I told him to never recommend this place to anyone it is a waste on of good hard earned money!!!!! If I could I would give it a rating of 100 below 0!!!!!

I placed a order at 4:57pm its 6:19 still no food. I was informed my order would be readying 25 Mina. I was 20 mins late and arrived to be told to wait 8 mins on fries. No food after 8 mins. A room full of customers. Employees not moving quickly to service the waiting customers. My recommendations if you aren’t going to honor the time do not give customers a pick up time and still have them wait longer than 10 mins. Poor customer service. Food is good but the service is not great.

Sorry to say… Black owned businesses keep letting us down. Always out of food, longer than normal wait times, old grease, shrinking portions and cash only. But the guy at Good Luck on Lamar St. and also food trucks have the phone swipe for credit cards.

I’ve had their fish in the past and it was excellent. This is where you come if you want some “home cooked” down south fried catfish. The fries are lacking, as well as the “feel” and visuals in the waiting area, that’s why its 4/5 stars. It’s in a slightly shady location as well, right next door to what I call the “Hood Mart” gas station. If you come late enough you can might even be able to get some pirated DVDs from the bootleg man that hangs out in the shopping center.

Went to this location last night and order # was 37. Ordered 2 Catfish Fillet dinners. Valentine Dinner. I was told they gave a few extra pieces. WHY when I got home the fish was fried hard in which I ask that it not be. The fries was hard and dry. I called back up there and they told me to bring it back and they will Fry more fish. First the wait was too long and they knew this about the fish when they fixed my plates. I told the young man that I did mot want to get back out and he said if I did not that loss will be on me. No Apologies, No next meal on us. Nothing but just my loss. I feel it was on me somewhat bc I did not check my plate. Yet I felt that something could have been offered. What I did find out is that I will not be going back there.

To start off with, like many other reviews I have seen for this restaurant, this restaurant is a hole-in-the-wall restaurant. I have nothing against hole-in-the-wall restaurants but the location is a sketchy one, which sometimes attracts suspicious activity. I do admire the workers’ dedication to their jobs. However, the restaurant’s customer service is questionable and tacky. When you order food over the phone, they will tell you 15 minutes, but you end up waiting for an hour. This establishment is a decent place to get food when you don’t feel like cooking, but the wait is extraordinarily painful. The pricing is expensive based on the food quality. What I have noticed lately about this establishment’s food quality is that the food tastes very well but it comes in very, very small pieces; today, I ordered a 10 piece catfish meal and the pieces were smaller than chicken drumettes and wingettes. Before I discovered this, I found out that the fish was cold when they served it to me. When I went to respectfully address these situations, they refused to give me a refund and they blamed it on their delivery truck. With all of this information being said, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone and I am not going here again.
