First time in and this may be my new favorite munch spot! Everything we tried was absolutely authentic and mouth watering The catfish and nuggets were especially noteworthy for me! We tried fried chicken, wings, soft little rolls, fries, fried okra, smoothies, sweet potato pie, ALL OF IT– DELICIOUS– and that sauce! Mmmmm! The fry oil was clean, price was right, clean, friendly. Had to send the okra back, it was dry and not great to chew. My friend’s chicken and dumplings was very dry and not appetizing. Tanner was great, but the quality of food has suffered immensely.

Definite recommend for fried chicken! Had whole chicken 3pcs combo little while back. Returned and today got 3 pcs tenders. Both times got and fresh and must important remained JUICY and NOT greasy. I believe it is paprika mixture on fries which I liked as well.

This place is on point. The chicken is fried to perfection. Just the right amount of spice. The fish is fried in corn meal batter 0 grease Fantastic. Priced very reasonably. My wife and I both loved it. Also the mashed potatoes were fresh made from real potatoes not instant garbage.

I ordered some fried chicken and a pint of Gumbo to go. The fried chicken was not too bad. However, I was pretty suspicious when the gumbo was packed inside a brown back with scotch tape all over it. When I got home, and upon opening the packaging, the gumbo looks like some black slob with just 3-4 shrimps on top, not cooked with the gumbo, but as garnishing. There’s no okra or sausage in it, just mostly rice….I had to throw it out because it looks inedible. I paid almost $9 for it. I was going to take it back, but I live in Gilbert and it’s just not worth it. I’m not going back ever again.

Chicken is good – would only come back for this… Not that ‘too juicy/slimey type’ and the breading was on the thin side with a slight spicyness, very nice. The fish and shrimp coming out looked great. However, the sides are a joke. I paid $6 for onion rings and $6 for fried zucchini. I paid $1 per onion ring, I paid $1 per zucchini circle. The zucchini was so oily the breading was sliding off. The onion rings were good but not worth $12 for 6 onion rings and 6 zucchini chips. You can see my photo of the onion rings, I gave my zucchini to a vegetarian at work otherwise I would have that photo. Oh yeah, the mashed potatoes were disgusting and the gravy was meh’. The potatoes are definitely instant with No flavor, KFCs has much more flavor and that’s saying a lot as I cannot stand powdered potatoes. The coleslaw….no way Jose. I had to add a sweet type of bbq sauce to eat it and even that was difficult. Super friendly service and a drive through, pick-up only window.
