Always a local favorite. It’s been here for years and before that it was a Tastee Freeze. I prefer this place over Popeyes and the food is better and they take thier time to make it. It’s best to call since there are days where it really busy and with all that’s going on why not treat yourself and others to some fried food. Lol

This place really makes the best fried chicken in Pasadena, others have tried to come close but they just do not have the formula. This is my go to place for fried chicken. Unlike Popeyes, my order is always hot, always delicious and always CORRECT. The staff are always polite. Their fries go with the chicken. Red beans and rice are good. Fish, good…I mean I have no complaints. I went to the one on Fair Oaks and the chicken taste COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. This one on Lake is the one to go to.
