Louisiana Lagniappe Restaurant opened in Destin, Florida in 1984. On January 1st 2003 Louisiana Lagniappe opened in its present location at 9990 Perkins Road in Baton Rouge.
In addition to Seafood Gumbo and Corn and Crab Bisque we serve many different all house made gumbos, soups and bisques including, Roasted Red Pepper and Jumbo Lump Crab, Duck and Andouille Gumbo, Shrimp and Artichoke, Roasted Cauliflower and Garlic with Jumbo Lump Crab .
Louisiana Lagniappe specializes in Fresh seafood and steaks. We serve fresh Louisiana crawfish dishes only when in season, never frozen or imported. We serve many of our longtime favorite entrées Fish en Papillote, Softshell Crab Pontchartrain, Fish Louisianne and Oysters Lagniappe.

Good tasty food, crab meat was really good and the twice baked potato is to die for! I loved the fish, topped with lemon juice it was absolutely amazing! The Crème Brulé was AMAZING! Best dessert I’ve ever had! Great cocktail menu, I had the Hot Pink Drink which was delicious. I definitely recommend this restaurant! My entrée in the photo is the Louisianne, Drum Fish topped with crab meat.

Fantastic meal. Start to finish. Great portions, fresh ingredients. Tasty cocktails. Superb all around. Can’t say enough good things about the key lime pie. Hands down the very best I’ve ever had. I don’t go by there often, but this is the stop when I do. Amazing dining experience.

We were racially profiled at this Perkins Road location on 8/22/2023 (my birthday). They’d only been opened for 40 minutes. There were at least 8 empty tables. We were offered to sit at the bar (with the drinkers) otherwise the wait would be 20 minutes. They do not want your business if you have melanin in your skin. So disappointed but don’t need their negative energy.

The service is awful! I didn’t eat there so I can’t put any stars on that. All I wanted to do was to have a nice meal in destin on our last night, we had private firework charter booked so I was excited about the ending of this trip. However, we get there and they give us pretty small table for 5 guests. We waited about 45min and they gave us a table for 4, so I asked for a bigger table. The server proceeds to count the spaces out loud and say, you all fit just fine, with attitude. He looked at me, again with attitude, and says, if you want another table you all can go back and wait in the back of the line. I was livid!!! I was already a bit upset that we got seated outside when I wanted inside and I made an exception bc the wait was already long but to get a rude server to boot, no way, I just walked out. We ended up at another restaurant, no wait, and the food was amazing without the price tag of this place. So I guess the rude waiter did us a favor.

I was recommended this place by a co worker. This place gets super busy! Parking is a little limited with overflow next door. I was dining solo, and they were able to accommodate me at the bar. Service was very friendly and quick! I ordered the special which was red fish topped with Courtbouillon served with a twice baked potato and a side salad. Holy cow, it was so freaking good. Dish was extremely flavorful and not so heavy. I ate everything on that plate. I got a cheesecake to go, and it was decent. I will be back! It was fantastic.

First visit here in a really long time. Would maybe give a 3.5 if I could. Overall food was good, but was just a tad disappointed in some things. At a finer dining place such as this I definitely hold food to a high standard, which is fair since it’s around 40 to 50 bucks per person.
