Pulled up, they were open! Been trying to catch them for a year now! Cool Mark owns the spot but he wasn’t there that day. Ordered the rib plate… It was heavy when I got it! Loaded with ribs, baked beans, potato salad and 2 slices of bread. The sauce was different, in a good way lol it’s thick not runny; sweet, but a Lil kick ️ to it Just Perfect! The meat was tender. Food was hot and was ready pretty quick (7 minutes). Also got the Tiffany Lemonade- a little tart and syrupy for my taste buds but I’ll support it! I will definitely be back. This place came highly recommended. Drove up. Nice music playing. Cashier greeted with a smile. Placed order. Then….The gentleman fixing plates was sweating bullets, did not wash his hands, pulled brisket out of warmer wearing NO gloves. Grabbed ribs with the same bare hands and never put on gloves. Used the same knife to cut both. He then walked over to pit to put sides of Jambalaya and beans on plate, still wearing no gloves. There was no hand sanitizer or anything for cleaning in sight. The Jambalaya was mushy and stuck together. The potato salad looked store bought. I was highly disappointed after hearing good things about this place, but I wasn’t going to be able to eat from here. It was the lack of cleanliness that would be the cause of me not returning. Touching warmer doors, pit handles, the table, then grabbing food, all with bare hands is a big NO. If the sanitization was up to par, I would probably give them a second chance as everyone and every place has an off day. These bad habits looked common place, and that’s not good. You never know who the customer in line might be. Therefore, such places should treat each order as if someone from the health department was ordering it. I really don’t mean to be harsh, but this was simply unacceptable.

We stopped by on the way driving from Texas to Florida, and they were closed (they had a catering gig) but Eric was there and hooked us up with some brisket and all the fixins! Fast and delicious. We actually drove right by the first time. They are parked a ways back from the street.

Let me tell you about a well smoked piece of barbecue. This is where you wanna go. D.J. Cool Marc owner/operator has a great thing going here with this business. They have a pretty nice menu for a food trailer with slot of choice. Try the Bezzy Burger if your into sandwiches.
