Louisiana Soul Bayou’s Facebook page posted a photo of a Cajun seafood pasta last night as a limited time offering and it looked SO good I had to cross off what we were having for dinner tonight and send my husband on down to get us some to try. I also had him get us a side of ratchet fries to split. We are from ID but visited LA a few years back and dream of the food we had there, and finding anything even remotely similar is next to impossible here.

We are here at the beginning of December. It was so much better then I thought it would be. The catfish was very good and the shrimp coating was delicious. I didn’t even need tartar sauce. The staff was so friendly. I like the environment at the Chow food court. Definitely coming back.

This was the best Southern food I have had. Not greasy at all and great flavor. This was better than a lot of the food I have ordered in the South. The gentleman was very nice and helpful. The eating area was a nice little food court with a desert bar. Definitely would recommend.

The staff were nice enough but the food wasn’t really up to par. I relocated to Boise from South Louisiana so I guess I have pretty high standards when it comes to this type of cuisine. To be fair, I haven’t found any place in Boise that can serve legit “authentic” Cajun or Creole
