A recently ate at this restaurant and had one of the worst meals I’ve had anywhere in a very long time. It was not inexpensive. I live in the area and had a nice meal there about 8 months ago. But the quality of the food has deteriorated badly. My friend had clam strips that tasted like clam flavored French fries. I ordered shrimp and grits the menu explained as a cajun style and the dish was terrible. The garlic bread I received was a stale hot dog bun that was grilled and then turned upside down so I wouldn’t recognize it was a hot dog bun. It was grilled dry, without any butter or garlic oil. The grits were bland and the dish had about 5 small slices grocery store kielbasa sausage instead of andouille as stated in the menu. A spicy oil was drizzled over the top of the grits to add flavor. About 5 small shrimp sprinkled with blackening spices topped the dish.

Got the steam pot the food was wonderful. Service could have been better. Took a while to get our servers attention to get somethings we needed. They didn’t provide extra napkins for the steam pot which is super messy. Most places provide wipes, napkins and a plate for the shells. Atmosphere was really loud as we had a table that seems pretty intoxicated but yet kept getting drinks. They were loud enough to attract attention from the whole room and saying inappropriate things loud. I felt bad for the family with kids at the table next to them. Seems the servers could have said something or a manager. It was pretty obvious that it was an issue for multiple tables. The food was really good though and the guy who busted our table step up and help get the things we needed so we could leave the restaurant.

After about an hour wait for our food they bring out my steam pot and I immediately noticed that the “1lb shrimp” was no where near a pound. I asked the waiter very nicely about it explaining how I hadn’t eaten any and that it didn’t look like 1lb of shrimp and she responded by saying “I asked the back about it and they said it was a pound when they put it on the scale”. Well looks like restaurants policy of the automatic 20% gratuity due to our table being over a party of 7 was used an excuse to not do their job well. From the picture it is easy to see that I did not receive a pound of shrimp and then was lied to about it. Ridiculous.

Hostess rolled her eyes at me and made a face when I asked for a table for eight. She had an attitude and I felt it was because we had a larger party. I was told the wait would be 30-35 minutes. A few minutes later a party of seven came in asked for a table and was told 45 minutes. They waited outside and returned 10 minutes later to be seated ahead of us. I patiently waited 15 more minutes then I asked a different hostess how much long we had to wait. She was much nicer than the first hostess. She was able to seat us right away.

Could have been better, I’ve been to better seafood restaurants, food was low quality. Definitely overpriced!! For what?! If you want pasta it’s $16 but if you want meat.. extra $8! This isn’t a fancy Italian restaurant, it’s a seafood place! Waitresses were not very nice, rolled eyes a lot. Could have gotten more affordable & better food at Olive Garden.

My food was great, the Baja Tacos were amazing, but both of my friends fried shrimp was cold, had rotting spinach as plate decor and was NOT fried, but warmed up or boiled (but cold) along with a the a bake potato having a hollowed heart inside (aka a black growth – the size of a grape), and the waitress Anna told us it was “fine”.

I never leave reviews. I’m in my 30’s and only left 3 reviews in my life. Had a party of 6 with a baby. Most reviews say the same thing. Food is good but there is a disconnect between waitress and kitchen. Not sure who is actually at fault. Waited 1 hour for appetizers. Even canceled a beer order cause it never showed up. This place could be great but when you’re on vacation and willing to pay I would rather go somewhere with better service. Will not be back would rather drive 35 minutes to fishy fishy.

Would HIGHLY recommend reading reviews before going here. We had a party of 8, and mind you this place was not that busy for it being busy season so that was already a red flag, but we had a reservation for 6pm. We did get seated at 5:55pm but it wasn’t until 6:15pm that our waitress finally came to our table. She took our drink order and it took approximately 15 min to receive our drinks. We then placed our food order around 6:30 and didn’t receive our food for atleast 45 min. Food was cold, and one of our orders was missing. Our waitress maybe came to check on us 3 times the entire stay. Never once asked if we wanted more drinks, if our food was good, etc. To make matters worse, we didn’t even receive all of our food at one time. One of our food orders came out 15 min after we already had received the order food. When asking the waitress what’s going on she responded rudely with attitude, “it’s not my fault it’s the kitchens fault” and stormed off. When talking to the manager she seemed quite surprised we were unsatisfied, but based off these reviews, it seems like that’s the norm here. Oh and our bill was messed up! I feel bad for how badly ran that place it. Overall, will NEVER be back.

When we got there tonight we were informed by the very pleasant, Kathyrn that there was a 35 minute wait. She offered to check the bar area if we were ok with eating in there and we were. We are easy to please. The servers in the bar, Hailey and Heather as busy as they were still kept tabs on us. The food was good as always and came out in a timely fashion.

Everything was so delicious!! The cherry on top was definitely the workers they were all so sweet. Our server Aubrey was so kind and answered any questions we may had, we never had to ask for anything once because she was so on top of it! It was our first time here and we will definitely be coming back!
