Loupe’s Crabs and Seafood is THE BEST AROUND!!! My husband, son (Jack – the pilot ) and myself gave them a try last weekend for the first time, and boy did we try them out…we ordered A LOT! It was so good that we are ordering again today for Father’s Day weekend! Not only is the food amazing, super fresh, and delicious, the owner Lou is simply a great guy. He took the time to talk to us and our son, he was friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. He has made us customers for life!

We got more than we bargained for – in the best possible way! We got two orders of the “Seafood Bake” and it was massive and delicious. The broth was very flavorful. And for a mostly to-go place, the customer service rivals most restaurants – the staff was friendly, the owner was conversational, and he answered all of my questions. Highly recommend!

My wife surprised me with some jumbo crabs from Loupy’s today and what a joke! They charged her $8 per crab (on special)… take a look at the photo and you’ll see that they are mediums, at best. A decent crab place would’ve said they are out of jumbo size crabs instead of selling mediums at the overpriced jumbo cost. Loupy’s should take “Crab” out of their name and call it a day. Ridiculous.

Ordered from here for the first and last time. To put it plainly, the food is really not seasoned well at all. The batter they use to fry their food is tasteless. The crab cakes are also very mushy inside with no jumbo lump crab meat. It actually tastes like they are made from canned crab meat. The fries were seasoned well but were very soggy. I wanted so badly to like this food, but it fell short of my expectations by a mile.
