I only have 2 stars because the two young girls who waited on our group were great. If the food was half as good as they e back for next year’s conference.were I would give it a higher rating.we used to go there many years ago when near there for a conference. They jab all you can eat fish and it was amazing. No so anymore.ot is no longer all you can eat and everything was overcooked it’s a shame thos place was Great. won’t b

Stopped into Lou’s around 6:30pm on a Saturday night… not a customer in the dining area… wasn’t real sure if they where even open.. the young girl that seated us said it’s been slow there… well no wonder … fries where extremely salty and so brown .. seemed like maybe the oil was over due to be changed… fish was good …there music wasn’t anything u would want to listen too …

I have went for the last two weeks and with then New Management the food was realy good.. and just right.. the portion size for the price was not to bad, I am taking our Assemble and my Co workers to this place to eat.. I those who loved there food before Plz give it a try lets give credit to whom credit is do….. they deserve to chance to make it a great place again..

Just left there after big basket of fish pickup order. First time since the remodel, not only was the portion of fish way smaller than usual half of that was only batter. Totally dissatisfied, if I want to throw my hard earned money away I will just get the fish sandwich from McDonald’s. Needless I won’t be returning. Shawn McGinnis

We decided to give Lou’s fish a second chance this evening. Last time we stopped in was soon after the new owners took over. It was overpriced then with poor food and service. Everyone deserves a second chance! The place was empty when we got there about 5:00 my husband used to go in just for the clam chowder on the soup and salad bar. What a mistake it was ordering that today. The chowder tasted horrible and I let the waitress know that it was spoiled!! Someone from the kitchen came out and tried some in a small bowl and immediately took the whole pot away. The fish sandwich had 4 small pieces of fish and nothing on it. No tartar sauce, lettuce or cheese. The French fries were extremely salty. I am one that likes salt on fries but this was an enormous amount of salt. The bill came after sitting there about 15 minutes waiting and when I complained about the bill because the chowder was not able to be eaten we were told well you ate the remaining items, which we didn’t because my husband is not a salad person Couldn’t even get a refill on my water ! We will never give them a third chance as I don’t believe they will remain in business much longer So sad that the new owners have ruined it.

Very disappointing. We use to love coming down here for fish. Ordered the fish and shrimp with onion fins. All of it was over cooked. Had five pieces of fish – three of them was more batter then fish. The waitress asked how our meal was – I said a little disappointing. She said it’s over cooked. I said yes and very little fish: and showed her the pieces with little fish and more breading. Didn’t see her after that…….

I use to work here when John owned the place & it was a hit. Felt like a second home. Always had lines out the door. Just stopped out for lunch & I’m so upset what it’s turned into…. the place was completely empty & very dark. It was so silent the entire time I ate, you could hear a pin drop. The place is totally bare, not one thing on the walls. Salad bar was so covered in flies, I tried to pick around them but ended up finding a dead one in my salad. Only had 2 people working who both looked very very young. I’m so sad the legacy of “Lou’s FAMOUS Fish” has officially died…

Use to be a great fish house. The coleslaw was always fresh and great. Not so much anymore. Younger staff, not good with multitasking. Or getting orders correct, takes a long time to get food, proportions have shrank, And then you wait for your bill so you can leave..

This establishment is in process of remodeling; however, the food was as good as remembered. The waitress was pleasant and knowledgeable of the food served. Definitely coming back for some awesome Icelandic Cod.
