Ordered by phone at 12:50. Said will be ready in 10-15 mins. Didn’t get the food until 1:30. When arrived, they kept me waiting 15 mins there. Sandwiches are good. Breads tasted fresh. Will still go but hope they keep their time promise.

I’m so glad to have a solid sandwich option in DTSC. I’m going to really miss Gracie’s, but Lou’s is so far a suitable replacement. The first thing you notice is their bread. It’s fresh! It’s soft! And it’s still crispy! I ordered the Kick’N RB, which is on Dutch Crunch. So the bread is crucial. Next, you notice that there isn’t a brick of cheap meat on there. There’s a sufficient amount of meat, and it’s high quality. And, finally, they have delicious sauces, but not too much. Like I said, the ingredients are high quality, so there’s no need to drown them out with sauce. Well done!

Excellent sandwiches! The ingredients are fresh and tasty. So is the bread. No stale loaves here! There are lots of mediocre sandwiches in RWC/San Carlos (Woodside Deli (Colombo’s), The Sandwich Shop, Ike’s…). Lou’s Cafe is definitely not on that list. The sandwiches here are high quality. and the service is quick and friendly. I really like this spot.

Lou’s is GREAT. Absolutely loved by everyone in our office up the block. It’s convenient, delicious, and affordable, especially compared to the other shops in the area. Once you’ve had the food, you won’t mind the understandable line it has over the lunch rush. My favorite is the crab melt on their ciabatta!
