I just keep finding these gems where I have lived my whole life. Lou’s is an amazing find. Right when I walked in I knew I would love it. I had the Hot Italian, and I was right. I loved it. It was pretty busy when I went in at 245PM. Now I know why. I can’t wait to make it back. A definite must for any Italian lover!

Oh my… I will absolutely be back for more sandwiches. We ordered the porchetta with broccoli rab, the chicken cutlet, and I think it’s the Lou’s special? Like a traditional cold cut sandwich. My favorite was the porchetta. So flavorful and the bread was delicious. I recommend ordering ahead of time. The wait was… A wait.. but totally understandable because they are busy.

This place has been in my neighborhood for a minute, it’s fairly new but I visited the first time the other day. I can tell you that I was quite shocked by the prices for their sandwiches, regardless I wanted to try this place. I ordered the Italian beef which is $20 for the full size sandwich. It might be thinking,” it must be a huge sandwich”. It’s not. It’s a regular size sandwich.

I would give it a 4 1/2 if I could, simply because their drinks weren’t priced on the cooler and there isn’t a lot of seating in the place. However the food is . We stopped in for lunch today. Had the Louie, eggplant Parma sandwich, and a NY roast beef. Oh. My. Lord. The bread is nothing like I’ve ever tasted. The meat is deliciously seasoned. Everything in the right balance. And don’t let an 8” sandwich length fool you, it’s PACKED with meat and toppings! I could have ordered the half size. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone!
