Chef Cam’s deep appreciation for Southern Comfort Cuisine was developed at a young age growing up in Kansas City, Kansas where she was exposed to a variety of Southern foods that would fuel her lifelong passion for cooking. She began at an early age working beside her late mother in the kitchen, perfecting their Sunday dinners and delicious desserts. My family and I love this place! We’ve celebrated many special occasions, or just stopped in for Sunday brunch. My favorites are the coconut shrimp and deviled eggs, and the Cajun shrimp scampi! I bought the cookbook, but nothing beats the real thing. Yummy food and friendly service- sometimes a DJ. Very cool spot, highly recommend!

I was so looking forward to a great experience but I was so disappointed. The occasion was to meet and celebrate fellow Leo birthdays. Once we were seated, it took about 20 minutes to get menus and water. Everyone was friendly, the vibe was great, music was great. Orders began to arrive. There were 3 people at our table and we received 2 napkins with our silverware. (after our food was served) At least 2 people in our party did not receive the beverages ordered with their meals, even after asking for them on several occasions. The water we were served after being seated was long gone and we were never offered any refills. Now I am very adamant about tipping servers, and I will add extra for GOOD service. However, I also reduce tips for inadequate service. Minimum 15% Well, I hope that the poor service is not because they get 18% gratuity off every check. I really feel cheated and I hate it for the owner that I am unable to give a stellar review. Maybe next time.

If Your Reading This. Go Eat before the restaurant is too full and you miss out. I can only say positive things about my visit. My food was hot & scrumptious, the staff was pleasant, my bill was reasonable, the atmosphere was sensational. And the music was a nice touch smooth. I Must say it was Love At First Bite!!!

Small cute place but with amazing flavor. The food was so good and fresh. Really enjoy the wings and can’t wait to go back for the candy bacon deviled eggs. My son had the churro waffles and fried chicken. Which was packed with flavor and crispy. I had the shrimp and Gouda grits. So creamy and I love the bite of corn and tomatoes with it. The coconut shrimp was bomb with that sweet dipping sauce. But them wings we my favorite with that chipotle flavor and the black pepper corn ranch.

one of my new favorite spots. didn’t have a wait on a saturday morning. the food was great. everything was well seasoned and my cinnamon roll wasn’t too sweet either. it’s a cute intimate brunch spot. the food was filling but you still feel light afterwards. definitely recommend even though it’s the type of spot you almost want to keep to yourself lol.

My wife and I came here for brunch to end our weekend staycation only to be amazed by the outstanding food and excellent service. Shell was the bartender/server who treated us like family. We WILL be returning to enjoy the great atmosphere!

Presentation was impressive. Taste however was not. I ordered the Smoked Salmon on Toast for an appetizer. 5 stars on that! and the Gouda shrimp and grits was decent. I had to add a good bit of salt and pepper and I strongly believe that the shrimp we’re old. Very strong smell and awful taste going down. My date ordered the Breakfast Potato Skillet with Chicken Sausage and French Toast. She wasn’t very impressed either. She also ordered 3 different flavor mimosas and she enjoyed those. Pricing isn’t too fair for the food quality. The space was very cute. It’s upstairs and had more space than I expected but it’s still a smaller space. I didn’t feel overcrowded or too close. Good/free parking. Decent service. I would return but more so for just the appetizers and drinks.
