Pleasantly surprised! We’ve been frequenting a popular place in Tustin for hamachi collar and are now in trouble because it was more than comparable and so close to home. My Philly roll was a great ratio, a lot of salmon, less rice = no filler. My husband enjoyed his baked salmon roll, and we both complimented the lightly battered veggie tempura. Bonus points for the nice presentation even for takeout, a pretty orchid was included.

Great service, they customized our rolls based on our preferences of spice level and presented a beautiful plates. Photos are of the extras they made for us. Best Garlic edamame we’ve had in OC.

Customer service was good as always. The quality of the salmon was subpar for the price ($22 a roll), along with the face that the seaweed wasn’t cooked all the way. They also added salmon eggs to the roll (it doesn’t have it on the menu). Overall, it’s alright but the quality for the price isn’t worth it anymore.

I would say that the food is good but the reason I am reviewing this place after couple of times trying the food is that they don’t serve the customers the same way and equal. Every single time I see the sushi rolls was not well designed or as the same size as the table next to me and I got disappointed last weekend that I saw the rainbow roll was much smaller than I ordered before.

I’ve been to a lot of sushi places and this was up there among the best. We had great service and all the food was really good and fresh. The sushi chefs were awesome, gave traditional greetings and were super nice. It is better than the prior place Niko Niko in my opinion. I actually think they should have opted for a more Japanese name of the restaurant because at first I was thinking it was a cheesy/Americanized name for a sushi place – but I have to say I loved it so I guess the name is fitting.

We have been here about half a dozen times over the last six months. We typically set at the bar. The chef’s are always friendly and the service is good. The sushi and roles are delicious. Out favorite is Jins role and the Yellowtail role. The salmon is mazing, and the sushi and sashimi portions are large. We were last there, on the evening of the Jan. 26th, and the young man who was serving us bar side, was very friendly and attentive. We always enjoy going here.

I had a hard time giving this place a rating. It replaces a well loved sushi place, Niko Niko which I hear was good. I ordered a Philadelphia roll, a spicy tuna roll and a salmon skin handroll.

Fantastic sushi spot! Fish was fresh. Rolls were innovative and flavorful. Some of the best sushi we’ve had in orange county! Chicken Teriyaki was also tasty for the non-sushi eaters. Also, the service was great.

Absolutely delicious. I’m super picky about sushi quality and I have to say this place is amazing.
