Lovegood’s is a small coffee shop on Main Street in a beautiful historic building. We serve Alakef coffee, espresso drinks, real fruit smoothies, Frappes, Italian/French sodas, flavored lemonades, muffins, bagels, Fosdal’s doughnuts and pastries. We are family owned and operated. Stop by for a great espresso drink! Lattes, too many flavors to list, Mocha, miel, Americano, affogato, …the list goes on. We serve wine by the glass or grab a bottle to take home. We have a rotating list of cocktails available.

I usually go on the weekdays and have great service and drinks. Apparently Saturdays are not good. I went in and waited in line for about 7 mins, 5 of which the cashier stood and spoke to another customer who had ordered and fully paid while a line formed behind us. I finally had to step in mid conversation because I had places to be. After I ordered, the cashier continued to speak with the customer even though there were two other people behind me in line! It got to the point where she wasn’t calling out drinks or communicating with the barista making the drinks, who had to loudly ask her to call out the drinks multiple times. Other customers appeared confused as to why they weren’t being served.

I’ve been here twice while visiting my aunt and the service and drinks have both been incredible! I love how customizable the drinks are too. I was able to order an iced strawberry vanilla macchiato today and it was as delicious as it was pretty!
