Sweet KC style BBQ done right! Friendly staff, great service! The only complaint we have is that people need to eat here more often so they will be open more often, so, selfishly, we can have more of their delicious BBQ. The burnt ends and pulled pork are where it is at! We did overhear other guests complementing the smoked meat balls and sausage. Give them a try!

A fabulous BBQ restaurant! I was warmly greeted by friendly staff. The restaurant was clean. I tried the sampler platter that had various smoked meats. The bbq sauce was flavorful and had a nice little kick. The coleslaw was okay, not a lot of depth of flavor.

EXCELLENT BBQ!! Not only was the food great, the service was amazing as well! I have never had juicy pulled pork and their BBQ sauce was delicious, but the meat was so good that you didn’t need it. The staff made us feel so welcome and were so sweet to our children! This is definitely our top bbq spot in Kansas! Thanks Low-N-Slow Midwest BBQ for the great experience!

Emailed an order for pickup at a particular time one week ahead of time. Got a confirmation. When I arrived to pick up my order, the staff was unaware of it and did not have 2 lbs. of burnt ends I had ordered. They were able to substitute other meats and gave me some free sausages. In the end, all was good for me, but it should not have happened.

I’m a self proclaimed bbq expert. This was my first time at Low N Slow. It was very good. We had ribs, brisket and pulled pork. The ribs were a little under done for my liking. They clung to the bone a little too much for me but had good flavor. The pulled pork was perfect and the brisket was thick cut, tender and delicious. I can’t wait to go back.

I had lunch with a friend this afternoon. I had the brisket sandwich, and it was VERY good. We ate there and the place seemed very clean. We were greeted by a friendly staff. All in all, everything was great! I would recommend this place to friends!

I’m having a rough day, and thought what better comfort food than some bbq. Got a pulled pork sandwich with some coleslaw, probably the best I’ve ever had. James the owner was very sweet asking how I was. Didn’t take longer than a minute to receive my food, it was hot and fresh. Made my day a little better. Never disappointed when I come here to eat.

The turkey was the only good thing there. The bbq sandwich tatsed like they rinsed the meat off and the bun ended up super soggy. The bbq sauce tasted straight from a bottle I’d be very surprised if they rebuttal that they make it. The mac n cheese tasted like peppered flour. The fried pickles were overly salted. The fried okra was probably the best thing there. For me, the food wasn’t really seasoned only heavily salted.

GREAT BBQ! I had the brisket, burnt ends, and sausage! I recommend no bread. Great flavor, moist, fork tender, and the sauce should be bottled. I’ve eaten BBQ all over the US and yes each region is different, this is legitimately a must stop for lunch or dinner. Those on Fort Leavenworth should make this place their new favorite!
