Awesome mountain man Inn and restaurant miles from anywhere. Not a fancy place for sure rather rugged old mountain Inn along the Payette River. Pizza and wings taste so good out here. It’s a must do.

Super cool old school bar in the middle of the mountains. Chatted about hunting and fishing with the owner and enjoyed pizza then breakfast sandwiches the next day. Had free foosball too!

The BBQ chicken plate was smoky and flavorful! Price was also very reasonable. Staff was great and gave our kid an extra piece of chicken! There’s also live music! So glad we found this little gem of a place!

Stayed in the buck suite yurt. Was clean and as described. The road up is steep but doable in the summer. We enjoyed eating dinner down at the bar and all the staff was super friendly. The buck suite was the closest to the bar and the port-a-poti. The live music was great as well. See pictures for yurt locations from the bar. Had propane heat, but no electricity, so bring a lantern or lights.

Locals dive bar that charges $29 for “pepperoni pizza” that is made from a premade shell crust (not fresh dough), and the cheapest and most tasteless sauce, cheese, and pepperoni money could buy. They know there is nothing else available for miles so they take advantage of that. You get a much better tasting pizza by cruising the frozen aisle for a Red Baron and cooking it your home oven, and I would rate a Red Baron a 0.5 for quality but the Google reviews don’t allow a zero.

Fantastic pizza! Great toppings, not greasy, and really good crust! Service was also fantastic! I will definitely look forward to coming here again next time I’m out that way.

The most disappointing restaurant experience I’ve had in a while. We showed up after driving a long way, as this place isn’t really close to anything (but we came because they have fantastic reviews, specifically for their pizza), and when we got there it seemed like the place was abandoned. When we did find someone inside (this is at 6pm), he told us they were out of food other than wings or steak fries (I think that’s what he said), and said it in a way that really said “I don’t feel like making anything right now”. We asked him if there were any other restaurants nearby, to which he replied “not really”. Obviously, we left, and I guess his last remark was somewhat true as we had to drive 30 minutes down to Garden Valley, ID to find another place, but boy am I glad we made the drive, because the restaurant we ultimately found was fantastic.

Zack was incredibly helpful and offered entertaining conversation. Kevin was an excellent host and we will 100% be recommending this location to anyone who is looking for a beautiful get away.

Pizza and pretzel were amazing! We stayed down the road at the hotspings, but stopped here for dinner. The place was busy but we were greeted with good service and excellent food. A live band was playing as we left- definitely a fun place to visit.
