The food and service at this restaurant was great. All our food came out fresh and hot. The woman that took our order was very attentive and pleasant. Their sesame chicken and Mongolian beef with fried rice was really good as well as their egg rolls. Also, their hot and sour soup was really good. I recommend this place if you’re looking for some good Chinese food. The prices are reasonable as well.

The food here is hands down the best Chinese food in Birmingham! The only complaint is how hot it is in the restaurant! It’s almost 100° outside & their thermostats are on 83°. That is still very warm when you want to sit in & eat. Very clean, nice staff, service is quick, & food is delicious. We eat there at least once a week….take out the last few times! Definitely recommend!

Let me start off this review by saying that I compare the shrimp fried rice and egg rolls every Chinese restaurant to the Chop Sui Inn as it existed 30 years ago and I have never found these items at other restaurants that measure up. Keep that in mind as you read the rest of this. Last night I ordered two shrimp eggrolls, the shrimp, fried rice, and the shrimp and peas. The eggrolls were the best I’ve had recently. I found the fried rice and the shrimp and snow peas a bit bland, but nothing I couldn’t fix by adding a little bit of sweet-and-sour sauce. I’d be willing to try this place again for other dishes.

Our first visit – We got an order to go. We tried General Tso’s Chicken (it was a large portion), Fried Rice and Lo Mein (house special on both which has four meats), and shrimp egg rolls. Everything was very good. The chicken and shrimp in the LM and FR were tender. I will definitely return but tonight I am eating leftovers.

If you’re looking for a place that has great customer service, delicious appetizers and food for a good price, come here. This is my first choice for all the local Chinese food in Trussville. I’m so in love with this restaurant! Both dine in and to go, good experiences! Highly recommend you try this place if you haven’t yet! Their Crab Rangoons are cooked to perfection every time!

I love Mongolian beef and have had it at many places. The dish here was so spicy I couldn’t eat it. Instead of whole peppers you can remove from your dish, the peppers are cut up into the sauce. I did not like it at all. Very disappointed.

Food & portion size were good. My cashew shrimp had only 3 cashews. I really had to hunt to find them- very small. There were 4 shrimp. The dish was predominately celery… well over a cup! Minimal sauce . While it was a good value it was very lacking in cashews and had far fewer shrimp than the same dish from Happy Wok.
