My friends took me here for my birthday a few months ago and wow, everything was so good!!! The portions were honestly perfect. Definitely one of my favorites as a Des Moines transplant. The restaurant itself is so beautiful and the staff is genuinely nice and so efficient. Looking forward to my next visit!

Amazing pasta! Two times I have gone now during lunch to order the Salmon pasta. It’s only $13 which I believe is a great deal. The food came out in 5 to 10 min it was so quick. Staff has always been friendly. I took two friends here and they both loved it as well! Environment is super cute. I love the architecture of the building as well. Couldn’t recommend this place more for a good lunch or cute date.

This place is great. Excellent food, nice atmosphere, kind people, reasonable prices. Today though I was interrupted three times by staff asking to take my plate while I was still eating. A bit difficult to enjoy a meal this way. I know they only have the best intentions, but thought it would be good to share this feedback. Err on the side of leaving a plate that someone might be done with instead of repeatedly trying to remove a dish with food still on it that your customers may still be enjoying. Thanks!!

Swanky yet simple defined interior, kinda an urban chic feel. It’s a four course prix fixe menu with great options to choose from. They brought out bread and one of the simple things that I loved about this place is they asked me each time after I ate all the bread if I wanted more. It seems to be hard to find service like that these days so I really appreciated that. And on top of that, service was overall great! For $40, I think it’s a hip place to go when you want a nice variety of well prepared dishes. Everything that I had (goat cheese salad, gnocchi, chicken Milanese, and desert). I liked the desert as it had a chocolate torte, panna cotta, and I believe an apple bread, but it was the panna cotta that was bomb. Beer and wine list we’re fairly priced too. Absolutely worth checking this place out if you’re in the area but if you don’t have reservations get there when they open and ask to be sat at the bar.
