Lucca’s is open at 5 p. m. for dinner Wednesday through Sunday (yes we are open on Sunday). This place is a great date night place. First you walk in and are greeted by a very enthusiastic hostess. Then you are seated and offered, off menu wines. The menu is small serious and to the point, in a good way. There is variety of foods for all palettes and restrictions. We are keto and had a great experience. Our waitress was new but amazing. We decided to be adventurous and try stuff that we don’t normally get. For appetizers we got the mussels with pesto and crab stuffed peppers, both were phenomenal. Plus the wine that was suggested paired perfectly with the apps. After that they brought salad that was paired with an amazing vinaigrette. We ordered the lamb chops and the veal and I seriously can’t choose which one was better, both were amazing. I was slightly worried about ordering the lamb because I’ve had it in the past and didn’t like it. But this lamb was absolutely perfect! If you aren’t sure whether you like lamb or not, this is the place to try it, 100%. The veal was lightly breaded and had a Marsala sauce and was sooooo tender that you can cut it with a fork only. This place is one of the best places that we have eaten at in a long time. Montana’s/Helena’s hidden gem.

I can’t say enough about Lucca’s! Everything I’ve ever had there has been amazing. The shrimp fra diavolo is my go-to and never disappoints. The service is always excellent. And that parmesean balsamic vinegar sauce they have with the bread, OMG, I could drink that stuff. Do yourself a favor, get a reservation, and go eat here! You won’t regret it!

I have been to Lucca’s about four or five times in the past, and frankly, I was impressed with the food and customer service. However, today’s experience is deserving of zero stars. This evening, I attempted to purchase a pound of muscles to go. However, the general manager, Tina, said that Lucca’s hasn’t done online orders for muscles in the past two years since COVID. I informed her that that was not true since I had purchased muscles to go from this restaurant on at last two occasions in the past few months. I offered to present my receipts from the restaurant to substantiate my claim; however, my words fell on deaf ears. Feeling frustrated with having dealt with Tina, I left my contact information with her and asked the owner to call me. An hour later, I went to Silver Star Steak Company and ordered approximately one pound of muscles to go. Their staff were wonderful, and their prices were comparable to Lucca’s. Needless to say, Lucca’s is no longer a dining option for me. Instead, I plan to return to Silver Star for all of my fine dining needs. Disappointingly Yours

Very seldom will I admit when I eat at place n say, “These guys do it better than we do it.” Well, Lucca’s in Helena Montana has earned my respect and it was an honor n privilege to dine here. They use a local bakery for the bread (baked daily) for their pre-meal dinner. The salad dressing was a Watermelón balsamic vinegaret dressing made fresh, soooo goood. These little tomato grape bruschetta bite things that had so much flavor. To moms seafood dish with amazing flavors cooked to perfection, and and my steak with roasted veggies n shrimp with a cream sauce that had a beautiful spice to it. The main ingredients are pride, passion, n teamwork, which is obvious in the food. A must try in my book. I very seldom give 5 stars but Lucca’s has earned the 5 stars easily. Thank you to the chef and his team for making a great memorable evening with my mother for dinner. I haven’t tipped the kitchen staff n am a very hard person to earn a tip from period but I had to tip everyone. I will be back.

My wife and I ate here for the first time and let me tell you. We will be back! The staff made you feel like they have known you for years. So friendly and inviting. The food was top notch with flavors that tantalized your taste buds in every dish.
