Service was good but the food was average (for flavor or serving size) at best. Some items have increased in price more than 50% within the last year. Glad I tried it this place but I will go elsewhere for my Peruvian fix.

We came here after many, many years. Lucho remains the best thing about this place. He is warm and welcoming, and his cooking reflects these traits. We were looking forward to his ceviche, but it is sadly off the menu now. What we did order, we enjoyed! Recommended: Seafood Fried Rice, Lomo Saltado. Then wash it all down with some Inca Cola.

Nice little place, not sure if it was the owner but at the first kind of friendly but when we just order one plate to share with my husband he wasn’t too. Happy about it. Order some fried plantains, and some of them were still frozen.

Spectacular! The food is really fantastic. There were 3 people (all Latinos so we really know this kind of foofd) in our group and we all ate different things to try out as much as possible from the menu and everything was excellent and cooked fresh in front of us.

This is Lucho’s in the middle of the suburban ocean of suburban Los Angeles/San Bernardino. Most likely you’ll never find Lucho’s in Rancho unless you randomly land by an office complex and you see people wandering going to Lucho’s. The place is humble but the food is what you’ll expect from Peruvian kitchen. I’m not kin on the fries in my food but the food was made very well with fresh ingredients. It’s kind of expensive but nothing is reasonable in LA no more because everything is overpriced. And this restaurant is buried in an office complex so you got to pay more. It’s almost as if you landed in Lima, Peru traditional Peruvian meals made here fresh.

I love Peruvian food, but this was my first time going to J P Latin Deli. I’ll definitely be coming here now. The service was great. I believe it was the owner that sat us and took our order. He was very personable and would talk to everyone. The portions are HUGE and the food is delicious. I was so full but next time I’m also gonna get dessert!

Formally JP Latin deli, Lucho’s is an institution for Peruvian food. The restaurant is nestled in a strip mall almost in a movie-like fashion with Lucho and company just waiting to welcome you in. The lomo saltado is exceptional as the perfect blend of umami and sweet. Each slice of beef is juicy and every fry crispy while bathed in the marinade. The lomo comes with a side of steaming hot garlic rice. It’s rice fries and beef – can it go wrong? Finally, the portions are gargantuan and definitely worth the price.

I can’t remember the last time I gave anyone a 5 star and normally I don’t. But the food was really good and cooked fresh. Amazing service very friendly family owned. I’ll be back.

Walked in to get my pick up order and was cheerfully greeted by all 6 staff members. We had the yucca fries and fusion/Chinese fried rice dish. Simple but delicious. Will be returning to try their aji seafood dish.
