Lucilla is always a wonderful experience, for a weeknight out or for a special dinner, but this was even better.

I googled places to eat nearby and was led to this wonderful little restaurant. Driving up to the place you might think you’ve made a bad choice because the building doesn’t speak to the high quality of what’s inside. Once inside you find a wonderful little dining room filled with joyful dinners. The menu has a nice variety of choices, all of which are excellent. I chose the shrimp and scallops with grits which was exquisite. All in all it was an excellent choice. I highly recommend it.

Hands down one of the best restaurants in Tallahassee. We’ve never had a bad meal there. The Grouper St. Charles is my favorite and the Green Hill Chicken is another excellent choice. The rosemary bread and sautéed spinach are staples I get with every meal. Every dessert they make is delicious. There are no wrong choices at Lucilla.

Great food and service. We had the shrimp and scallops over grits, smoked chicken over pasta, and Brie chicken. We also shared a bread pudding.

The pimento cheese fritters were SO good! For my meal, I had the goat cheese chicken, and I really enjoyed that also. The sauce was a tiny bit too salty, so we shared that info with the waitress. It’s an open space, very clean and a nice place to take a date. It’s a little bit loud just because of how the space is. I’d definitely go again!

Nearly perfect. Food well presented and very tasty. The shrimp, grits, and scallops are good, but I’d prefer if the shrimp and scallops were larger. Also, it’s with a tomato base which is a bit unconventional as is adding scallops. I’ve also had the pork chops. Huge portion. Like the shrimp, grits, and scallops… The pork chops were good not great. However, the fried oysters small plate was perfect.

This was a great place to eat dinner. The service, food, and atmosphere were amazing. We got the filet medallions, chicken, pork chop, Mahi Mahi, and the shrimp & grits. It was all delicious and amazing. The outside of the building doesn’t make it seem like the gem it is. I will say the crawfish risotto with the Mahi Mahi was AMAZING. Also, the chocolate cake dessert comes with this chocolate cream mixture, and I would order just that cream mixture for dessert.

Absolutely wonderful experience. Had the pesto buratta to start, followed by the New York strip and shrimp, scallop and grits as our entrees. Great experience from start to finish, knowledgeable staff, cozy yet eloquent atmosphere and delicious food.

Lovely place to eat. We want to come back and try some other dishes. Would love to see if a dish is gluten free or could be served gluten free. Meyer lemon Creme Brulee and Salted Butterscotch Pots de Creme were amazing! Our server Artemis was wonderful.

We had a delicious meal starting with fried green tomatoes. Yum! The goat cheese salad was good but we thought it should have had more goat cheese for the amount of greens. Dinner was a fabulous Green hill chicken with spinach and mashed potatoes. All were well seasoned, I especially enjoyed the very moist chicken w Brie! The lemon brûlée was divine.
