I love this restaurant. The literal best Chinese food around! The owner’s are fantastic, extremely dedicated and hard working people. I really enjoy the Sweet and Sour Chicken, the Hong Kong Chicken, and the Honey Shrimp. Very unique dishes. The food is ready very fast and is also really well packaged for my commute. A total gem of a place to eat! I highly recommend.

By far the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. I used to live in Evergreen but now live in Lemont but still work in Oaklawn i would call after work and pick it up on the way home but the last 2 times I called the first time she picked up and said we have a catering order and won’t be open till 4. And now I just called today and the message said Friday won’t be open till 4. That’s twice now I’ve been disappointed on the time change

The food at Lucky Bamboo reminds me the Chinese food from my childhood. It is THE BEST! We just happened to pass by one day, and returned to place an order. One of the best decisions ever! I was super impressed. The portions are large with fresh ingredients, and the best egg rolls around. I’ll be back! Lucky Bamboo has become my favorite Chinese food.

This place is seriously good! Don’t let the fact that it’s hard to get someone on the phone to place your order, or that you have to call and wait outside to pick up your food, deter you. It is really good. I traveled from my house by the lake to this place just for some good shrimp Lo Mein. You won’t be disappointed, trust me.

We’ve eaten Chinese food all over the world (including China). This restaurant has the best food we’ve ever had. Everything is made fresh and to order. The menu is huge. The prices are reasonable. The food is DELICIOUS. We especially love the Hong Kong Chicken, the Sweet/Sour Chicken, the Shrimp Fried Rice, the Honey Shrimp and the Salmon. The owners are the hardest working, most dedicated people whose only wish is for their customers to enjoy their food. You MUST order from Lucky Bamboo. You will be HAPPY you did so!

We’ve been loyal customers here for years and unlike other local restaurants in the area this place hasn’t taken steps backwards in the quality of the food. A true staple of the community. They make the best fried rice in the neighborhood. The Hunan chicken and Kung Pao Delight are my favorites. The owners are lovely people, very hard working and kind. Definitely recommend.
