While the menu had a lot of options for burgers, the size of the burger was unnecessarily large and made it difficult to eat without falling apart. Additionally, the smell of the restaurant was unpleasant and gave off a chemical scent.

Best halal gourmet burgers I’ve ever had anywhere. Chicken and Beef are halal. Their cheesy fries are great. Parking can be difficult. It gets really busy on weekends, so make reservations. Service and atmosphere is great! Can be a bit dim however with the lighting.

The place was recommended by one of my friend as a must try burger joint in DC. We ordered plant based crispy burger and their hand cut fries ( spicy ones) and i was not disappointed. Their burger patties was lentil and shroom based and was really flavorful. We initially decided to just try one burger but ended up eating two of them.

I had chicken burger, very crispy and not dry. The size of the chicken are quite different, mine was smaller than my neighbor’s. My husband loves the lucky bun burger. Restroom is pretty clean. Worth to try.

Mumbo bun was delicious. Spicy and flavorful at the same time! Braai fries were on point too. The Sichuan ginger beer was my favorite item – Def recommend. All meat is halal. Service was a little slow but not too bad. Overall a 5 star experience. Would totally come again and recommend to friends!

It was late. I was starving and tired. I found Lucky Buns less than half a mile from my airbnb. What a treat. The staff was so attentive and sweet. The food so delicious and atmosphere very welcoming and relaxing. I loved every bit of this experience.
