I ordered sweet and sour shrimp. No vegetables were added only sauce in the side, the shrimp had too much breading. Did not taste good at all I will never go there again.

When the mood hits, we’ll get some Asian food from Lucky Chen. Large portions for the price and everyone in the family enjoys the food. Our usuals include some fried rice, beef/broccoli, crab rangoon, sweet/sour chicken. Can’t forget the fortune cookies!

They do have seating inside, so we told them we wanted to eat there. They packed our food to go anyway. Two of us placed an order, but we received only one fork and one napkin.

It was our first time trying this place. We were left feeling disappointed. We had dumplings the dough was very thick. We also had general tso’s chicken which we ordered extra spicy. It was very sweet no spice at all. We also had beef and broccoli. I didn’t try it my wife said it was pretty good. We also ordered chicken fried rice which was a little bland. We tried it because it was on our way home. We thought we would be able to dine in but it was only carry out. I realize that there aren’t a lot of options in the area for this type of cuisine so if you’re in Salem I guess this has to be your go to for Chinese food.

For the last time, Lucky Chen has screwed up my $72 order. It’s a joke when they do, they do very little to help you when it is their mistake. I tried to be forgiving and give them another try, same old situation and I regret it. Don’t trust them with your orders, always double check things.

Used to be decent but it was the 2nd time I ordered since covid. The egg rolls never had any flavor but since covid most everything I ordered is pretty bland especially the fried rice. When they first opened they were decent and the owner, his wife and sister inlaw were very friendly now his children and wife are not so much.I won’t be eating there again!
