Inexpensive place to eat or for takeout. So far all I have tried has been very delicious. I love their combo options, especially the noodles. Will keep trying more, especially the chicken feet.

While walking through chinatown I thought I should try these dumplings as they were just coming out. The filling was quite good but the skins were far too thick. Overall still tasty though. Really busy deli, very limited seating space.

Char-siu baked buns are great, all I usually go for. Sucks that the dimsum I had was cold.

This place has good food if you know what to order. This noodles and chicken dish was especially delicious. Very good quantity as well!

Good spot, more like 3.5 stars out of 5. It was a super late night and one of the only open Chinese spots in downtown LA. It didn’t disappoint, I got the Pineapple Curry Chicken fried rice and fried calamari.

Like a typical Chinatown bakery. Chicken buns weren’t the best, but they were sold out of char siu when we got there.

This iconic long history Chinese is our go-to spot in Los Angeles. Almost everything that they service delicious. We love their noodles, they’re breads, and especially their dumplings. The dumplings are huge and very tasty. The portions are huge and extremely cheap. I can feed family of 4 for $20 and have leftovers. I have been back to this place about eight times already because I am addicted to their dumplings. They definitely have the best tasting dumplings that are esteemed. All the food that they have inside the deli is made fresh and once you realize how busy they are you will know that the food gets rotated very frequently. The outside of the deli does not look so great, it is a very old building. Once inside the aromas and the food makes you forget about what the front look like..

I used the adjacent parking lot and can confirm that this parking lot sign says 15 minute free parking for Lucky Deli. I was able to use Venmo to pay for my order. They also accept Zelle too. We got there early enough to get out of there under fifteen minutes. I had a big order and by the time we left, there were several customers waiting in line. If you like egg tarts, try the milk tart.
