This is the prototypical New England Chinese restaurant. Food is reasonably well executed. Consistency seems to be this places bread and butter. Dishes always taste and look exactly the same. There are a few tables, a tiny bathroom, and a soda cooler. I recommend takeout due to the size of the restaurant and the fact it tends to be on the hot side. There is little reason to drive a distance to eat here as every midsized town in NH seems to have a very similar restaurant, just staffed with different faces. If you are in the Epping area and feel like chinese food, this is one of 2 options. The other seems very similar in my experience. Take your pick , it really doesn’t even matter. It’s all the same in the end … since I’m feeling pessimistic tonight, I will judge this restaurant by its lowest score. There is not enough sizzle with the steak.

Used to be the best but not anymore. Last night was the 3rd bad meal and definitely the last.

We’ve ordered here 3 times. Couldn’t believe how good it was. Went in recently and was shocked how dirty it is now. Took the food home and the gen chaos chicken smelled funny and chicken was VERY small. I was shocked how small it was and not spicey at all. The rest of our dishes came up very short on flavor. Will not go there again. Very sad.

The family that runs this restaurant are wonderful, hard working people and we’ve never had a bad meal from them In over ten years. This is, by far, the best Chinese food in the seacoast from southern Maine to Mass. It’s worth the drive if you live towards portsmouth. Don’t be shocked when you arrive and find a tiny little, ordinary looking taking out joint because the food they produce is amazing!!!! We recommend lemon chicken, Mongolian beef, all the soups, spring rolls and dumplings are the best!

This place USED TO BE. The best in its market , 3rd time disapointment , told the person getting the food to check it because its not been consistant , something has happened the teriyaki doesnt taste or chew like the tender product i fell in love with , the chicken fingers are just perfect if you like rubber chicken and i can spend 5 95 at walmart and get gen tso chicken in a larger portion that has flavor and actual chicken inside the beading , sadly this place is a good place to throw away 40 bucks and fill the belly of your trash can ! They have lost something , pride or integrity in the effort and the quality of the products , i can not be the only one experiencing the UTTER DISAPOINTMENT in a place i ordered from once a week for years because it was just that good ” in the PAST !

Just moved to Epping and decided to try this place out. I’m not generally a Chinese food fan (usually it’s too salty or greasy for my liking) but this food was delicious. Everything fried was crispy but not too greasy, and for the first time ever I had Chinese food that wasn’t so salty it made me sick. The scallion pancakes were amazing, the order was ready quickly, and they were very friendly. It’s also an open kitchen, and when I took a peek in there it looked super clean. Would recommend!

These people at Lucky Fortune are hard working dedicated and devoted to serving the same chinese food they have for the last 14 years I have lived here. They have improved the quality/freshness of their chicken wings. Food comes out a little oily, but heck, if you want health food, go to the grocery store and buy spinach and berries. They are dedicated to health and safety and very covid conscious.
