You NEED to eat here! I was so excited to here this place opened, theres a big Hawaiian food gap in Columbus these days. Amazing prices, great portions, and friendly service. I always get the chicken lover dish to get a nice tasting, but their bbq beef is also delicious. The spam musubi and the mac salad keeps me coming back too. I really like that they have a variety of appetizers and drinks like all the Hawaiian Sun juice flavors too. Im an instant regular.

This is definitely going to be one of my go-to restaurants from now on. The prices are so reasonable and them food….10/10 soo good! It’s a little hole in the wall in a little strip. The service was great, and the food was ready in under 10 minutes. The only thing that’s frustrating is the place only has 2 parking spots allocated for the location. Other than that, there are zero complaints. I’m already planning my next trip!

We were in such a rush that I forgot to take more photos, but this place is amazing! I had their mochiko chicken and crab rangoon. Everything was good! Most of our party also had the mochiko chicken and enjoyed it! I hope they can be successful enough to move into a bigger space!

Tasty, simple food. Had bbq bento plate, chicken katsu musubi, and the malasadas (sugar donuts, used a free coupon) The plate and musubi filled my partner and I up to bursting we didn’t even have room for malasadas so we ate those the next morning!

Wow. This is truly a remarkably hidden gem. Their food is out of this world. I had the Crab Rangoon, BBQ short ribs ( very reminiscent of Korean Kalbi) and the Spam Musubi. The Rangoon are enormous and wrapped in a crispy spring roll casing. The short ribs are both tender and very flavorful. I never thought I’d ever like Spam, but I now do. The prices are reasonable as well as portions plentiful. I will be back soon. It’s well worth a visit!!

This place is just a little hole in the wall restaurant, pushing out some amazing food. I recommend getting the The number #41 with a extra side of macaroni salad, trust me it will change your life. The next thing THAT YOU HAVE TO GET, is there orange chicken. Its the best orange chicken I have had in Columbus. If you haven’t tried this place yet, you’re missing out.

I grew up in Hawaii and I’m so happy to find a place serving food that tastes just like it did back home! I highly recommend the mochiko chicken and musubis. Also, their prices are super reasonable for the portion sizes. I had leftovers for two meals afterward 🙂

We were passing through and found this gem here on google. We knew we had to stop. We are originally from Hawaii and relocated to Indy. We are always excited when we find Hawaiian food spots, especially since we have none in Indy. #1 Hawaiian Barbecue did not disappoint! They had a lot of our local favorites, more options than we expected to find. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to our picky eater. There was 10 of us in our group, most ordered 2 items and we ordered food to take home.

Want to try something different? Something from Hawaii? Look no farther. Give this place a try! I ordered from Doordash, and our food was still hot. I’ve always wanted to try the spam musubi. It was good and very filling. Would love to try their other flavors next time. Also ordered the garlic shrimp, which my fiance devoured! Even though he said he wasn’t hungry, lol . But, I also ordered the bbq beef, which is marinated in what tastes like a soy sauce base. It was tender and delicious with the rice. Sorry, there aren’t any photos we were hungry
