today 12/3/22 my family of 4 came in sat down and ordered chips and salsa and fried green beans at 12:45pm we placed our meal orders around 1 and our appetizers came out shortly after. The place was about half full. around 1:30pm Bridget the owner came in acted very unprofessional yelling at her employees loud enough for the entire establishment to hear. at 1:45pm we still did not have our food at this point I went and requested all of our food to go as we had already been there over an hour! finally at 2:20pm Amy finally brought us our order to go. It took almost two hours from the time we placed our apps to the time we got our good! absolutely unacceptable at any restaurant! Thanks Amy and the other sweet young waitress were great at keeping our drinks full and apologized a million times for the slow line cooks and Bridget’s unprofessionalism! Those two ladies were absolutely amazing! I truly hope service and the owners attitude improves befor they run themselves out of business! Overall the food itself taste great just takes an eternity to get your order!

Great place to eat and/or have a drink. The Monkey has a diverse, full menu. Good specials on weekends including ribeye, prime rib, fish etc. The staff is super friendly. The food clearly uses fresh ingredients, and is always prepared to order. Drinks are also made as they should be. Small town pub type atmosphere. There is also a fenced-in patio area. The kitchen is small so if they are busy you may wait a little bit for your food, but it will be worth the wait.
