Got the lunch special. Schezuan beef but as you can see 75% of it is vegetables, also didn’t receive pork fried rice instead was given plain rice. For $16 I could have bought a decent steak at a restaurant. Now I know

They say that they don’t use MSG. My husband ordered the hunan beef combo is allergic to msg. I called and the rude woman who to spoke to finally admitted that the company that provides the oyster sauce for Lucky Star restaurant uses msg. When I repeated to her what she said the snappy woman tried to lie and said she didn’t say that. When I told her I was recording the conversation she got nervous and asked for my info. My husband had to go to the hospital and get epi injection. DO NOT ORDER from Lucky Star. I def will never give that place another cent!

Ordered Shrimp Egg Foo Young without onions..my food not only had onions throughout, but I counted the shrimp – I received 3 shrimp. I will NEVER order from this place again!

I do not know how this place does not have 5 stars. The food here is outstanding, and the service is friendly. The sesame chicken was delicious and not overly breaded, they happily substituted brown rice for white in the fried rice, the egg foo young, beef and broccoli, and mei fun were perfect. Discovered this place visiting my mom in her new place, and they’ve got it right.

Their food is top notch. Everything tastes way better than expected from a standard Chinese Restaurant which basically sets the bar. This place is worth driving 15 minutes to pick up food. General Tsaos Chicken and Fried Dumplings are my standard order and it’s so good here.

It’s hard to ruin chow mein but they succeeded and ruining it clearly their recipe comes from another part of China because it didn’t taste like any chow mein that I’ve ever had before. The spring rolls were not fully cooked. Evidently they did not use MSG because my wife and I both did not have an MSG reaction but couldn’t sleep
