10/10 ⭐️’s. The food was delicious, the veggies used on food were fresh. They have a huge selection of different items to choose from along with a custom lucky menu. Complimentary miso soup that was yummy. The service was fast, friendly and our drinks were topped quickly. Definitely recommend, will visit again.

Delicious food. Friendly staff greeted us with a Japanese welcome upon entering. I had a create your own bowl. Family had sushi. Waiter brought extra sauces upon request and when he wasn’t sure about ingredients, he went to ask. Very professional. Very trendy walls.

I had a raw and a fried roll and both sushi orders were fresh and flavorful. The cucumber crab salad was delicious. Service was excellent, I felt very welcome as a first time guest. I will definitely return.

Depends on your waitress; our first time there waitress was good. Last time there the waitress was rude and we had to remind her when our orders were out and sitting at the bar for quite a while. She let our appetizers sit out forever so our food was done at same time. Cynthia, another waitress there, is pretty good and knows what she is doing, she made our first experience there great. The new waitress that could not even add or subtract scared us from going back. It was not worth the hassle at that point.

We go the fried calamari and it was delicious. Their calamari is thick and well seasoned without any of the rubbery elastic texture. I had the lucky sushi roll which was incredibly done, the spicy mayo imitation crab was so good and spicy. My husband got a bowl with basically tempura fried everything which was also delicious. Our server recommended the yuza sauce and it paired greatly with the calamari. 10/10 recommend

We ordered by phone on a Sunday at 7:16pm, went to restaurant and paid for our food at 7:45pm, and left the restaurant at 8:30pm with our order. I had to go inside and complain at 8:20pm and ask for my money back before they would finish packing my order up to go. The food was good, but not an hour and 15 minutes wait “good”! The only positive thing about waiting was the sweet girl who packed the food and apologized sincerely about the wait. The manager was on his phone at the bar on the right near the register and didn’t seem concerned until I wanted a refund. I won’t go back to eat or order here again.

Delicious food per usual. I loved the Harlingen location before they closed. The wait staff are fairly kind. I’ve had no issue personally. The wait was okay. I didn’t get my food super fast, but I didn’t wait an extremely long time either.

I’ve been going to Lucky Sushi Bar every now and then, today went to do a favor order for a customer and received the worst customer experience. Once placing the order the person that assisted me by the name of Miguel D, was bothered on assisting me, that he kept swiping my favor card so rough, also threw my card in front of me instead of handing it to me to my hand, grabbed the receipt for me to do a signature and threw it in front of me with the pen. If your not happy working there, find something else and improve your customer service skills, this is unacceptable and definitely disappointed on the way I was treated. Placed a simple order which was just one item.
