Very nice venue with a swanky vibe- the drinks are excellent. I had the Hendricks flora adora G&T. It was exceptional- a perfect blend of florals and citrus and not sweet at all, which suited me perfectly. The presentation was also perfect, see photo for detail. The Japanese Chai Old Fashioned was also outstanding. Next came the Farmers Daughter. Let’s just say she lived up to her reputation. We were mid-climax with her, fireworks blazing and then, here comes our main dish already. The table for two couldn’t hold anymore food and I wasn’t quite finished with her yet. However, not wanting my main course to get cold, I decided to dive into it anyway and give up on the daughter. Surprisingly, they never took her off the table, so here we are trying to keep our main course dishes from falling into our lap while the farmers daughter sits there beckoning to us and taking up the majority of our limited space. The fried chicken and its accompaniments were a bit of a let down, honestly. The breading was thick and a little chewy or gooey, not as crispy as I personally would have hoped it to be. The meat inside was actually dry, though, and when I had to take a gulp of water just to swallow it, I decided to give up on it and go back to the farmers daughter to try and reignite the flame. Instead of a starter, she could easily have been the main course. Dessert was also a bit of a let down. It was cookie dough breaded and fried county fair style-no thanks.

Excellent over the top restaurant with more focus on detail than most. I had 5 different severs and service stunningly quick. The food is excellent and the portions are rather small but surprisingly filling. I was able to sit at the bar by myself; but I would’ve been more comfortable with someone, because I felt like I was supposed to mingle. The people were very open & welcoming, so next time I feel like I want to meet new friends while dining, Lucy’s will be at the top of my list.

On a road trip from Atlanta to NW Florida, and got South of Atlanta and googled brunch on our route. This little gem popped up, so we decided to go.

Amazing drinks, food was 7/10. Very fillings and good service. Not too sure if its worth the wait and price. Maybe if it had bottomless would be perfect.
