Hidden gem in Taylor! We stopped by for breakfast and the place wasn’t busy. The waitress was nice when taking our order and the bathrooms were clean. Food was DELICIOUS! We will definitely be coming back for breakfast again.

We had great experience the first time we went for breakfast and decided to take our family for dinner. The food was good as was the service. However, after buying dessert and taking it home my daughter found a ring in it! Fortunately she didn’t bite into it. My husband called and spoke to either the manager or owner. He states she was curt and not once apologized. This is the reason for the poor review. A simple “I am sorry” would have meant a lot! We weren’t looking for a free meal or anything, but thought they should know. He took the piece back to the restaurant-with the ring-the next day. The young waitress was super apologetic and gave my husband his money back. She seemed to care more than whomever my husband spoke to the previous evening. She took his name and number to have the owner/manager call. Not surprised we didn’t get a call. We love to support local businesses but we certainly will not be going back to Lucy’s.

We had lunch this weekend. We were very pleased with the food and service.If you want some good ole home made dishes. Try this place. The young lady that attended us was super nice and checked on us often. We had the Chicken Fried Steak. Super tender and delicious. Dessert to go was out of this world good. Fresh and Homemade. I had the German Chocolate Cake. Wow!!
