The best Italian Restaurant ever!! The service, ambiance, and food (of course) are all perfect. Every single dish is delicious and you can’t wrong with any of them. I originally came for their grand opening and loved it so I decided to book a semi private event with them. Alex, made the process so smooth and were very very accommodating. I wish Luiginos the absolute best!

Undeniably THE best Italian food in Northern New Jersey. My family knows the chef/owner and when I met him I was impressed.

Came with my girls to Luigino’s the place was super gorgeous I felt like I was in Italy. We started with Caesar salad with homemade dressing and croutons ! The cheese big and delicious pieces! Then we tried the mozzarella with prosciutto and roasted peppers! and wow! The mozzarella was freshly made in house as well! The calamari was fluffy and not over cooked! Then I had the polenta and short rib which gets served table side and it was absolutely delicious still savoring it! My friend had short rib and it was big yet so tender and juicy! And of course Italian restaurant know for the pastas!! Well this one did not disappoint! We ate so much but had to make space for desert and thank god we did! The hazelnut gelato was delicious and the little donuts too!! Now mind you all the names on the menu will be in Italian but the staff is well trained and ready to help! I still have to go back and taste everything else on the menu! So if you are looking for fresh food right to your table actually made at the restaurant not store bought! Then this is your place !

This restaurant is a gem . Just opened in April. Took over the old Salute that was there before. Chef Luigi came over to say hello to us which I find him very endearing and you can tell that he loves to cook for his customers. The minute that you walk in you feel that the space is inviting, open, relax and cozy. Our server was very sweet. I love the decor. We started with the Pancia Di Maiale( slow roast pork belly with agro docoe sauce appetizer) and Il Tagliere( imported thinly sliced meats, olives and Gorgonzola dolce appetizer). For our main meal we had the eggplant and chicken parmigiana, the shrimp with prosciutto wrapped and spinach, the stuffed gnocchi with Parmigiano butter and porcini cream truffle, Tonno salad and a fish dish. I have to say that their stuffed gnocchi is amazing! I have not had better. Their other dishes were very delicious. I was just not a fan of the Tonno. It didn’t tickle my pallet. Doesn’t mean it’s bad it just wasn’t for me. I would come back again and again. Thank you for the hospitality and great food Luigino Parmigiana. Until next time!

Being a first generation Italian American I rarely leave any italian restaurant feeling like I got a meal that was better or ever at par with anything any of the cooks in my family can make. Last night was one of those ultra rare times where I can actually recomend to one of these family members an Italian resteraunt. Everything we had tasted fresh, clean and light. The fritto misto was litterally among the best i have ever had, lighty battered and fried super fresh and crispy. The red sauce on the eggplant parm lacked the standard overwhelming burned garlic flavor prevalent in the red sauces 95% of other Italian places serve, but rather was again , light and fresh and tangy tasting. Also a single serving of any of the parmigiano dishes is litterally enough to feed at least two people, if not three. You will be bring food home. I also had a double cut pork chop perfectly cooked, seasoned, nice and juicy. The slow roasted pork belly appetizer was one of the most exciting new foods Ive ever eaten and would go back just for that alone, it was salty and sweetend by a raisin fig reduction or something, I litterally soped up the sauce with some bread when the meat was gone. Me and my wife also fought over the last few bites of the pasta carbonara, I never tasted real guanciale, wow! Luigino’s also partnered with a nearby liquor store to have beer or wine effortlessly ordered and delivered to your table adding value to the entire experience. I know what the next hot spot in town is going to be and its Luiginos Parmigiana. I just hope this review doesn’t add up to me not being able to get a seat next time. I obviously highly recommend this place, and if u get a chance find a way to have a conversation with Chef Luigino about anything on his menu you will be in for a treat of a conversation with a man who is very educated and passionate about the great food he creates. Buon Appetito!

Winner winner chicken (parm) dinner!!! The food was incredible as was the service. The owner even came by to ask how we were doing and said they were down a waiter. We genuinely didn’t even notice. The food came out quickly, the staff was attentive, and they couldn’t have been any more friendly. We got the chopped salad (not pictured) which was probably one of the best salads I’ve ever had. Then for dinner we shared the chicken parm, cacio e pepe, and the potato side. The chicken parm was tender and thin and so perfectly crispy – and massive may I add. The pasta was so creamy and perfectly al dente. Could’ve eaten this meal a million times over. Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back soon!!!

The service (Pete) is great, the food is between good and brilliant. The Tagliato in the picture is a wonderful selection of cured meats and an interpretation of Gorgonzola tinged with genius. The Carbonara is quite good, and my companion liked the Tagliolini.

New hot spot… Italian restaurant in Monclair. This was the best Italian food that we have in a long time, highlights were the lamb pizza app, imported salumi and cheese app, Veal chop Parmigiana, table side polenta with short rib ragu, and housemade desserts were on point! They have a pretty good size menu with a lot of choices at different price points. I would like to try some more of the pastas. And I will definitely be back to have a chicken parmigiana…Met Chef Luigino, the owner, a super nice guy!
