Took the whole team to Luigi’s for an end-of-season dinner and was not disappointed. We were met with quality Italian food and awesome service. You can tell a lot about an Italian restaurant by the bread they serve and Luigi’s homemade bread was some or the best I’ve had in a while. The Fioretti Valbella, Stuffed Mushrooms, and Zeppolies were a few highlights. Can’t say enough good things about the experience.

I met my daughter for dinner there last night. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service the owner provides is incredible, all restaurants should follow. The lobster ravioli was great. The prosciutto and mozzarella asparagus was to die for. Even a temporary power outage caused by a passing thunderstorm couldn’t dampen the good time we had. I will definitely be going back.

My FAVORITE restaurant in all of Carmel. Love the food, love being treated like family, you get huge portions, and all the desserts are drool worthy! The cheesecake, the carrot cake, mamma’s special, and the pistachio cake are my top 4 favorite desserts! It was hard to narrow down, they’re all great!

We are from MA and when we come down to NY to visit family in the area, we always make a stop at Luigi’s Famiglia Cucina. The food is absolutely delicious and the service outstanding. Can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. The specials that are not on the menu will cause much dilemma as to which one to get. They’re all so good. And to end an amazing tasting meal, I highly recommend their homemade cheesecake. Luigi’s wife makes the cheesecakes and apparently various other kinds of cakes.

Where to begin… This local restaurant, named for the host Luigi, is one of the best parts of a holiday weekend spent in the area. We were welcomed, fed, entertained, and made to feel part of a place that smelled like home on a Sunday afternoon. When you tell your server to “feed me”, just sit back and wait for the best meal ever. Thanks to Luigi for making us feel so welcomed. And tell your wife that her Mama’s Cake is divine.

We had our first family dinner there on Saturday night and really enjoyed it. The food and portion sizes are great (love the burrata appetizer), the staff is very attentive and its a nice family atmosphere. We are looking forward to trying their new Danbury, CT location.

Luigi’s is a great place. I get takeout often there. The food is ready on time, the staff is friendly and everything tastes great. The pizza is one of the best I’ve had in Putnam County. The clams casino is also really good, as are the salads. The restaurant is not large, but inviting and warm, and the staff greets you like they know you.

Catered from Luigi’s and I am so happy that I did. Hands down it is the best Italian food in the area. Catered for a gathering of 60 people. Every single person asked where the food was from because they enjoyed so much. Especially the penne a la vodka. Luigi really does care for his customers/community and makes it really easy to cater from. If you want the best Italian catered food in the area, order from Luigi’s.

Had a fantastic celebration meal at Luigi’s. He welcomed everyone in and gave some of the best service at any restaurant I’ve ever been to. Comparable to Boston’s North End in terms of taste, absolutely delicious meal and an extremely enjoyable experience.
