Delightful little hole in the wall joint with huge portions of good food, and a wonderful mix of Italian Opera, Frank Sinatra, and modern italian artists playing in the background. Would recommend.

On my way to Dallas and I see the excellent reviews about this place and I decide to choose here to stop and eat. Absolutely delicious food. I personally got the meatball parmigiana sub and I cant even explain how good it is. They give you really fresh rolls complimentary, and the place is so neat and clean. I love the soft Italian music in the background to! I will definitely stop here again if I travel back and forth this way.

The place had only been open for a few days when we visited, but the place was already humming like a well oiled machine. The staff was friendly and seated us quickly. The menu items have lots of Italian words in the names, so I can’t remember the name of what I ate, but it was very good and best of all, authentic. The prices are reasonable for good Italian food. Overall we had a great dining experience and I can’t wait to visit again.

Read great reviews about Luigi’s and was excited, LOVE LOVE LOVE Italian food. The experience, however, fell far short of the rave reviews posted. The person who took the order was rude, abrupt, and attempted twice to terminate our conversation before we finished ordering. The order itself was short one entree, and 2 of the others were burnt. The pizza was pretty good if you don’t mind half cooked crust, and the FOUR, tiny stuffed mushrooms were finally located at the bottom of a sauce ocean and tasted like boiled rice. The spaghetti with olive oil, basil, and garlic was the best tasting dish served, and I recommend it to anyone, the manicotti was burned on one side, but the other side was okay. The cannelloni was a greasy, unrecognizable, and unpalatable mess, which upon returning home, my dog refused to eat, instead sitting down in front of it, barking and growling. My sentiments exactly.

We were served bread rolls that had black hair baked into them. When we got our lunch plates there was also hair on them. The staff was very polite about everything. The food smelled great, we didn’t eat due to the concern of the hair in the food.

Nice place, friendly staff, but the food wasn’t the best. My girlfriend and I were out in madisonville looking at houses this past weekend and she decided she wanted italian for supper. My food was pretty good but she got sick off of the fettuccine alfredo that she got. So needless to say it took us a long time to drive home. I gave 3 stars for the wait staff as they were very nice and prompt.

Driving back toward Houston my family and I picked up food to go… I had the NY special pizza and it was seriously delicious. My wife said the woman working there was super sweet. This will for sure be our regular travel stop! …. I mean you already exit for Bucees so you may as well get great food too!
