We celebrated my mom’s Birthday dinner here at Luigi’s an old time favorite restaurant from back in the day. The fried fish platter w/ fries was the bomb, bake ziti and stuffed shells was good too. The service was good. 1 server for 18 people wasn’t enough, but it worked. We’ll visit again. Thanks for your hospitality.

We’ve been coming here since I was a child and it always brings back memories. In fact my uncle who recently passed away used to work here when he was young. The food is always delicious and the server went above and beyond during our most recent visit. Everything was wonderful and definitely makes the 1.5 hours of driving worth every minute!

If you haven’t been here you are missing out. You should try the prime rib. You should also try the pizza. There pizza is unique and not trying it would be crazy. The garlic is the best in the city. They pile it high with toppings. Seriously high. They even put meatballs on it. Speaking of meatballs, they have huge meatballs here. I like to sub my pasta out for baked Gnocchi. You will have leftovers so enjoy your food the next day too!

Eggplant parm and marinara were pretty good. The vodka sauce was very thin and almost tasteless. The side salads (“Dinner Chefs” as they refer to them) were old with brown, wilted lettuce, dried up onions and sad canned black olives.

I was craving for some italian foods, and luigi’s always been the best! I also had the fried haddock supper with excellent crusty Italian bread, a side salad, and fresh cut fries. It was open conveniently for lunch. Everything they proudly serve is fresh.

I had the fried haddock dinner with fresh crusty Italian bread, side salad and fresh cut fries( choice of 3 different pasta and the fries.) ..it was open conveniently for lunch..most restaurants don’t open until 4 since reopening from Covid quite some time ago. It was $15 with one piece..one piece is a large naturally cut piece of haddock..not some other white fish.

I’ll be the one to say it. it’s not good. I can’t understand how it has so many good reviews, I don’t want to taste bud shame but dang! the sauce is not good, it’s almost sour? the pizza dough doesn’t taste like much. the toppings are soggy. it’s NOT good.
