This place is a nice addition to the growing “ghost kitchen” phenomenon, where several chefs share a space. Convenience is the name of this game. You go to one place to order, but can choose from – in this case – three different menus: Jamaican, Nigerian, and then Lula Mae’s modern kinda soul food vibe. The Thai Chili Lamb w/ 2 sides (I chose hand cut fries & fried curry cabbage) was exceptional. Not everyone knows how to cook lamb right. This lady does! Succulent and flavorful, and spiced just right. Washed it all down with a very refreshing cucumber mint lemonade. So good! Go check it out! (Food is cooked fresh, so to cut down on wait time, order ahead.)

I really enjoyed my food. I ordered through Ubereats. I for the fried whitening with 2 sides. The sweet potatoes are super sweet but flavorful. The curry cabbage could have a stronger flavor for some but for me it was perfect. I’ll definitely be trying some other food from here

When Councilwoman Janese posted about this new business opening…I looked at the photos of the food and I thought “Okay, the devil is working hard to get me off my diet.” I couldn’t get it off my mind and I went and ordered the loaded grits with whiting, collard/kale, banana pudding, and crack peach tea. DELICIOUS!!! Absolutely delicious. Seasoned to perfection. Fish crispy. Grits perfectly cooked.. creamy without being overcooked and slimy. Greens tasty and perfect compliment to the rest of the meal. Banana pudding doesn’t use vanilla wafers.. it seems like Graham crackers or something. It’s a great, unique swap out! Peach tea…….. I should have NEVER tasted it. It’s addictive. Real Peach flavor with real peaches floating in it. It’s neither overly sweet nor too tart. They somehow have the perfect balance. It took a second to get my food but….. I’m from Tennessee.. I know you don’t rush food like this. I will be back again and again.

Food was torch everything was delicious. We had the honey jerk wings, fried whiting, fried curry cabbage, smoked mac & cheese, zucchini & squash medley, spinach & crab dip. I will order online prior to going the next time; it takes some time to get your food; hey you can’t rush greatness. I will definitely go back to taste more things.

Ordered through UberEats and I was not disappointed! The food is amazing and large portions for the prices! And the presentation is so pretty even for delivery. If your ordering through delivery I’ve Added pics so you can see what it looks like. I ordered the Grits with a crab cake and Beef sausage, Seafood macaroni, peach tea and the apple caramel egg rolls. I was not disappointed and I will order again!

OMG!! The best Jerk chicken tacos I’ve ever eaten in my life! The honey lemon pepper wings (yes I said honey lemon pepper) were bomb! The Mac and cheese were bomb and the yams were on point! Definitely will be going back again!
