They were a little on the pricey side for the size of quesadilla I got. It was too small. The service was fantastic and the ladies there were all in a great mood and very nice and serving

I waited in line forever it felt like, but then they sold out ): . I came back the next day, but earlier to beat the crowd and wow…. the tamales had so much flavor. I took about six more home and ate them in one sitting .

Traveled to the area to visit family for the holidays, and was recommended to try lulu’s tamales. Honestly the wait was worth it! If you wanna beat the line/have a chance at ordering tamales you have to go early! I was told that they tend to sell out fast.

My wife and I moved to the AV almost four years ago and had been trying different and all types of food trucks and restaurants and unfortunately we just couldn’t find a place that could satisfy two of our food favorites one day we were driving back from the store on Ave N just past the freeway heading west and my wife saw the Lulu’s tamales truck and asked if we could stop and check it out I was a bit skeptical about trying it because I was already disappointed at many other Méxican places in the AV. I stopped anyway so my wife could try the tamales and she purchased some Green chile pork. Red chile pork. Some Green and Red chile chicken and some of rajas I still didn’t want to try them but she insisted they were better than all the rest. She gave me a piece of the one with green chile pork and I must admit I was pleasantly surprised. The next day Sunday morning she wanted to go and buy some more and discovered that they also sell menudo. I decided to try the menudo and also was pleasantly surprised because the clean the menudo really well meaning it doesn’t have a lot of fat it isn’t sticky and it has good flavor. The only downside I found is the tortillas they give you they are nice and warm but they have smelled spoiled in already three different occasions but if you could do without the tortillas then it is worth the 20 to 30 minute wait. I will continue to go here until I either find something better or they change their quality and price.

Been going to lulus tamales for a long time and I think they are the best ones here in the AV. Although the menudo is disgusting it smells weird and taste even worse. I ordered 4 menudos and threw them all away.

I bought the chicharrones Tamal, it was delicious! I tried the Champurrado, it was perfect! I’m looking for this truck because I want my family to try this food. I tried calling them but no answer, I hope I can find them soon.
