Terrible Service. We have gone there twice now for breakfast at 11:30 (Breakfast service goes until noon) When we get there the rude bartender/server says the kitchen said they are done now. So we ask to order lunch, hours are listed as starting at noon. They tell us the kitchen needs to turn over and we won’t be able to order until 1:30-2ish. Another time we went in at 10:30am and we’re told to hurry up and order because the chef is done cooking. They wouldn’t give us our drinks until we placed our food order. Saw my drink sitting at the bar for 10 minutes. It’s too bad because it’s a neat place and the food is great. The staff and “Chef” need to GO!!!!

Showed up at 6pm for their Sunday night special and was told they were sold out. Settled for burgers, which were lack luster and overpriced. The tator tots should be removed from the menu as they had no taste and were priced additional. I’ve eaten there several times before and will continue to support them, but hope they evaluate their menu and quality of food served.

Awful food, 2 hour wait, coin machine took all my money, would be a 5 star if u wanna wait 2 hours for a bowl of grease, bathroom was tiny about the size of my dogs kennel.

Classic Northwoods tavern. We had the best time bringing our son and exchange student daughter here. We played games, petted Bentley and, enjoyed the great food stuff staff. They gave our exchange student a momento!

The food and service were great, it’s hard to find liver and onions that are tender and taste great. (Actually hard to find any restaurants that serve it). Hubby had the walleye and said the taste and batter were good, it’s an eat again meal. Kudos to the chef. We will definitely return.
