Authentic Latin cuisine. They didn’t have a kids menu but I was able to order a kids quesadilla. The food was excellent. Very big portions. Taste was great. It all came out hot. I would recommend it. I think our waitress was new. She didn’t really ask us about refills or anything. We had to ask her and she wasn’t sure of our drinks. Still, she was nice and the food came out right. she wasn’t afraid to go ask someone for an answer she didn’t know either. So, maybe it’s just growing pains and she will get better. Nevertheless it was a good experience.

The food is fantastic. Love the tostones with pork. The spicy melon margarita won best cocktail in the ‘ham for a reason! And the service is great. Kaitlyn is the best ❤️❤️❤️

Great spot in an old repurposed fire station. Was not busy at lunch on a rainy Saturday. Floor is cement and ceilings are high, so dress warmly if the weather’s cool.

Delicious food, super friendly staff, not a fan of the cocktails. (Sorry!!!) We had a great experience here. We enjoyed every dish we tried, except for the burger, which had peppers in the beef patty and it was not what we had expected it to be. It tasted more like sausage. The Mexican street corn dip was delicious! The arepa stuffed with roast pork was very yummy, as was the shredded steak/beef taco. The mixed drinks just weren’t very good. My mojito was very tart / bitter and hard to drink. I also tried the watermelon cocktail and wasn’t a fan. But overall, the food was amazing and the experience was great! We would definitely eat here again.

Fresh, flavorful and fantastic location! Creative take on Latin cuisine – all fresh and delicious!! Cocktails are tasty, too! Located across the street from Avondale Brewery, so conveniently located in the heart of everything happening in Avondale! Check out this former firehouse turned restaurant like your feet are on fire. It’s amazing!

Great place and location. Had the Cuban, it was really good. Different than a traditional Cuban but still really good. Also got the black bean tostones, very flavourful and delicious. Will definitely be back.

We like the shrimp taco and the fish taco here. But the fajita is not good at all — the meat is over cooked, and not hot, seems like it’s precooked and then put on top of the skillet when served. Don’t order the loaded fries — very salty with no other flavor. The most terrible issue with this place is the flies. They don’t leave you alone. They devour your foods and the staff don’t seem to have a solution. Very unhygienic.

Food was amazing. I had the shredded chicken quesadilla. The fries seemed a bit old & greasy but the quesadilla made up for it so i’m not so upset. The waitress seemed a bit overloaded & thus we didn’t receive the best overall service or attentiveness. The vibes weren’t really there either. Next time I’ll either grab the food for takeout or go elsewhere.

The lighting/ambiance can use some improvement (fluorescent lights and metal tables and chairs and cement floors feel much too cold and cafeteria-like and not like a warm inviting restaurant). The food is truly great though — we loved the tostones (ordered some pork and some beef, both were amazing), and the arepas are delicious.

Food and service were great! Had the tostones as an appetizer, Cuban sandwich with yuca and some fries and plantains as sides. Parking next to the restaurant can get a bit difficult but there’s plenty of options nearby. I would’ve liked if the place had a bit of ambient music since it can get very loud cause tables are very close to each other. Would definitely love to come back!
