Simply amazing food! My Wife and me started with the Lobster Bisque and bread. I had an old fashion and she had the Josiphita’s Spirit. We both ordered the Mansion Filet with bearnaise and crab meat cooked rare with whipped potato’s and finished the evening off with a slice of cheese cake. The wait staff were fantastic and the owner came over to check on us. Hands down best money we have spent on a date in some time and the steaks were just so tender and warm till the last bite! We will be back very soon!!

Wonderful place. I have been told it was not great a few years ago (before 2010?) when it was under previous management, but I have been several times since 2010, and it was always top notch. The first time I went was just one or two days after I got back from an extended business trip to the Baltimore area, where I had enjoyed lots of seafood – some excellent, some only moderate. The night we went to Luna Mansion, their special was a Sea Bass, which I am particularly fond of. I was hesitant to try sea food in New Mexico so soon after getting back from a bastion of sea food excellence. However, the server convinced me, and it was incredible! It was at least as good as the best sea food I had in Maryland. The flavor combinations were rich and interesting. The quality was excellent. The service impeccable. And, the prices are fairly inexpensive for such a nice restaurant (at least they were in 2010-2013). Each time I’ve gone, I get something different, and I’ve always loved it. Great food. Highly recommended. In fact, I’m going again soon.

We are frequent diners at The Mansion but that was not always the case. It is great to see one of our old favorites brought back to life with consistently great food and attentive staff. Lou greets us by name and everyone makes sure we are happy. The live music on Friday nights is another enjoyable reason to eat upstairs.

I took my daughter and her boyfriend there foe prom dinner. He had the salmon with spinach and asparagus. The salmon was very dry and spinach was too salty. My daughter had the steak special with Green chili, mushrooms and cheese. The steak was cooked perfect, but was very, very tough and chewy for the price. The atmosphere and service was good, but the food was not what I expected for the price I paid. Overpriced for the food we got. Should have been perfect for the price they charge Don’t know if I will go back.

Sunday February 10th for brunch. Party of 3 arrived shortly after they opened. We were greeted and seated immediately. The food was outstanding and the service was as well. We have eaten at the Luna Mansion at least a dozen different times. We have never had a bad meal or service. Love this place!

I reserved a room to throw my boyfriends 22nd birthday in. The staff was more than willing to work with us on anything that came up. We were able to explore the mansion, take photos, eat and play board games all while having a beautiful scenic room to ourselves. The staff was kind and attentive. The food was great and portions generous. Over all it was an amazing experience and I highly recommend the Luna Mansion as a destination.

The authentic Victorian mansion is gorgeous, including the grounds. Cocktail lounge open before the restaurant. Service friendly and excellent. Limited menu, but great choices, and excellent. Only drawback are the prices, which are higher than I recently experienced at Los Poblanos in Albuquerque, and Mr. A’s in San Diego. Apparently there are less expensive burger and possibly luncheon specials.
