Went here this past weekend for lunch. The service took a little longer than what felt necessary but we the food cane out great! I ordered the fried ravioli as an appetizer and the eggplant sandwich for the entrée and they tasted great!

Love to try new pizza places wherever I go. The hostess was all by herself that evening but still was fantastic and was a joy to talk to while I waited for my pizza. Solid pizza that hit the spot that evening. Definitely give it a try and as always, support local!

Moved from NY and if you lookin for good pizza get a pie NY style well done. Oh and the garlic knots are on point too. It was a decent struggle losing out on all the good foods you could get up there and couldn’t find here but overall I’ve found this pizza and I’ve found bagels so I’m pretty set, don’t need to wait to go visit NY just to get a decent pie anymore lol

Lunas Pizza and Restaraunt located in Mt. Gilead, NC – slow service, but the pizza was good. If you expect your beverage cup to never be empty then this is not your restaurant! Before ordering ask for updated menus prices. Menu price: 10 wings = $12-$12.99, but when ordered we were told the price would be $23.00! WOW – that is a steep price difference…so we passed on the wings. Chicken Alfredo with side salad and garlic knots – menu price $12.00, but when I received the check the price jumped to $13.50. No biggie, but false advertising. The Alfredo and garlic knots were great, but the chicken tasted old and was dry from being overcooked. Stick with the pizza! Enjoy

This place COULD be awesome. They have a great space, captive audience with the Tillery crowd and a bar, but they don’t use this advantageously. They close at 9 M-Sa and 8 on Sundays…in a RESORT area….they should seriously consider extending hours on the weekend nights. When we went there was one person cleaning tables, cashiering, and serving—it wasn’t busy but still caused delays. The food was mixed—I didn’t like the pizza but the garlic bread and stromboli were pretty good. I read some reviews saying the prices were steep but I felt they were more than reasonable. I really think management should consider extending hours for weekends and perhaps having some bands or something. I think the bar would pay for itself.

Disappointed with their customer service and their online app. I ordered from Slice using my address at Luna came up, which we have one in Oakboro, and I ordered not thinking twice because I’ve order before from them. When I found out it was at the wrong restaurant I called in hopes they could assist me with a refund. They told me they couldn’t because I ordered on the app and had to contact Slice. I contacted Slice and they said they contacted Luna in MtGiliad and they said they would not refund me. I called back and told them that they could give my order to the next nice person that walked through the door since they refused to refund me. They said they didn’t “think” they could refund me which means they didn’t even try. It is what it is. Disputed it with the bank to get those funds back
